I was looking for a new primary. Dr. Chandy was highly recommended by my GYN's office. My 1st visit in April was prompted by persistent pain on my right side since Jan - which I told her about. Labs in Jan were normal but I still didn't feel good. Lab results from my visit here showed an out-of-normal range for my kidneys. I received no feedback from her office about my results. But once I reviewed my labs, I saw the out-of-normal range and had them reviewed by another doctor who confirmed it was my kidneys and to see a nephrologist. There's this normalization with out-of-range health indicators for certain populations that western-trained doctors blatantly ignore - even when the patient is telling you they don't feel well. Just because she's a female doctor of color doesn't mean she doesn't implicitly or explicitly subscribe and practice those biases

Dr. Chandy is a pleasant and engaged doctor. She did a proper exam and gave me time to address my specific concerns. I was seen fairly promptly - immediatley brought back by a tech to take my vitals, and seen by a physician within a half hour. Some people might balk at waiting half an hour, but I don't, because I was non-critical and I'm not some entitled goddam boomer.

Dr. Chandy was great! The office is VERY organized and Covid-safe. She was very attentive, informative and truly listened to me. She went over everything thoroughly and made sure I understood the blood tests she was requesting and answered any question I had. I had to wait maybe 10 minutes but nothing crazy. It was a breath of fresh air to have such a personable doctor. Highly recommend!
