Mary Beth's interest in nutrition began in her teens when she faced challenges with overweight and eating disorders rooted in mind-body connections and unhealthy food choices. Later in her career, she was diagnosed with twenty medical and nutritional conditions by a pioneer physician in functional medicine. The root causes included toxins (one being mercury), inflammation from several sources, stress, and nutritional deficiency. She is trained to address all these areas that affect everyone's ability to restore health. Mary Beth earned her Bachelor's in Food and Nutrition from SUNY Plattsburgh and completed an Internship in Dietetics at Sage Graduate Schools. She was among the first group of dietitians to train with the Institute for Functional Medicine and the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy. Mary Beth works with each client at a level and pace that works for them.
