I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Mary Caselli! I have been seeing her for several years now and she has been the only doctor who has been able to help me figure out what is wrong with me and how to treat it. My symptoms and particular health issues haven't followed typical patterns so she has had to think outside the box and really listen to what is happening. And it's worked! She is kind and good natured, with a great bedside manner. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a naturopathic doctor who really listens, asks good questions, and wants to partner with you to help you feel better. I wouldn't be where I am today, health wise, if it wasn't for her!

Mary Caselli received her B.S. in 1980 from State University of New York at Stony Brook. From there she spent four years at National College of Naturopathic Medicine where she received her Naturopathic medical degree. She continued on to a 1 year residency in Obstetrics and Family Medicine. With a strong passion for Homeopathic Medicine, she spent the next year in India, working and studying in a homeopathic clinic. Here she had the opportunity to see and treat many hundreds of patients using solely homeopathic medicine. She was fortunate to be working under the wings of a renowned homeopathic physician. On return to Portland as a Portland Naturopath physician, OR she has been in private practice for over 24 years. She also spent 2 years studying Chinese Medicine and Chinese Herbs at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. Her practice and success in treating complex and difficult cases is a reflection of her eclectic training.

My first appointment as a new patient.
I found Dr Caselli to be very knowledgeable, humble and friendly. I explained the treatment plan that my previous naturopath (who moved out of the area after seeing me and my family for years) had prescribed, and Dr Caselli understood the reasoning behind those treatments and recommended some changes to the plan to respond to my current symptoms. I think I've found a naturopath to last me for many years.

Off street parking in front of her office makes access very easy. Plus there is on-street parking as well and public transit is a block away..

Dr Caselli takes time and interest to listen to your concerns and problems. She noted everything you say and takes holistic approach. She sees you as a whole and considers not only physical aspect but also emotional and mental. Dr Caselli expresses her approach and opinion of what kind of treatment possibly may be best for you and asks if you agree with it or think there can be any modifications considered. She is very pleasant and easy to talk to. I feel at ease expressing my issues and even sharing personal emotional matters. I would definitely book an appointment with her!

I was fighting with doctors to diagnose my dizzy spells before I saw Dr. Caselli and none of them thought to do an iron study. Dr. Caselli was the first one to think to do an iron study and diagnose my anemia. She is also the first to do any vitamin studies on me. I really connected with Mary Caselli, She listened and took the time to figure out what was causing my skin aliment. She is professional but personal. This is the first experience I've had with a ND and I highly recommend her.
She followed up by email to check in while we waited for my tests results to come back. I felt she was really interested in my well being and checked in with me several times before I could get back in to see her.
