What a beautiful facility! Easily the largest ophthalmologist office I've ever seen. Filled beautiful art and decor. The staff was very helpful , real professional. Dr. Mary Green is top notch. I am defiantly going back.

Dr. Green uses the latest in All-Laser LASIK and cataract technology for her patients. This combination of experience and technology takes the safety and precision of vision to new heights for LASIK cataract and eye care patients in Houston. Dr. Green and her staff use blade-free LASIK technology, including the precision of the VISX Star S4 excimer laser and the safety of all-laser Intralase. This technology is so precise, and so advanced, that it is now approved by the military for its pilots and NASA for our U.S. astronauts. With this new level of technology known iLASIK, our Houston LASIK patients often see 20/20 or better after their LASIK procedure.
For Houston Cataract patients, Dr Green specializes in a no-stitch, no-shot, no-patch procedure than only takes a few minutes to complete. I won't return to this office. Although, I believe the care I received from Dr. Green was the best I've ever received, the front office staff is impossible. On this last trip, as I checked-out, I asked for my glasses prescription as this was my yearly check, and they told me I couldn't have one because it was a medical exam visit. They then showed me on my sign-in paper where "someone" had written "complaining about cataracts." I did not write that and never even mentioned that. I stated I was clear about this being a vision exam. They insisted it was my handwriting and wouldn't work with me on that until we argued some and they finally relented. No need for me, as the patient and customer to have to deal with that.

The wait was longer than needed to be... after 45 min of waiting in the front they take you to one side thats set up for exams and "interview" you. The lady (she just gave me her name but no title) was very dry, she asked questions that where on the intake form and you could tell she was not really paying attention because she aske if i was wearing my contacts now but i clearly had glasses on my face. She then took me back out through the lobby to the other side where i waited in another waiting room to see the doctor. I waited for 30 min here. When the doctor came out from a patient i noticed she didnt clean her hands but assumed she did it in the room. Another lady who was very nice came a brought me to the same room. I had about an10-15 min wait to notice there was no readily availabe sink or sanitizer. When the doctor came in she did not clean her hands. But she was super friendly. I was bothered by the fact that she did not clean her hands and was touching my face and around my eye and also. The machine she used to look in my eye did not have a disposable paper guard and was not cleaned before or after... when we left the room i was behind the doctor and she walked right past a hand sanitizer in the hall... grabed a patient file and walked in the room ewwwww.

This was a very pleasant and professional experience. Everyone worked quickly and efficiently and Dr. Green was very experienced, and she comes highly recommended on many different review sites--and even better she takes almost all insurance, including most of the ACA(ObamaCare) plans.

My only complaint was that I had to drive downtown and park inside the St. Lukes building which I first missed and went to the Methodist building, Luckily I got out of the parking lot without having to pay. But the valet at St. Lukes was 14.00, not to mention the quarter tank of gas to get there and another tank of gas to get back again. Oh and the traffic!!! Just wish these docs would have some offices on the east side of Houston. So little there for specialist care. Dr. Green was very good.

My visit to Dr. Mary Green's office was excellent. From the moment I walkled into Suite 2105 it wasn't hard to notice an atmosphere of professional, helpful people. Every person that had anything to do with my reson for being there was kind, understanding, ready to explain. In all, the kind of place where people who treat eye patients should exist everywhere. At the end, meeting Dr. Green and her diagnosis left with the comfort and satisfaction that a professional of her caliber is capable of delivering.

From the minute I walked in - Claudia greeted me at the front desk; Gerardo, the tech, started my exam, while my eyes were dilating Jackie, the optician, helped me pick out new glasses; then I saw Dr. Green & she did a detailed examination. It was a process, but I left with new glasses & better vision.

Something flew into my eye while I was visiting Houston, actually at the zoo. I found Dr. Green on google! The office was able to get me in right away. She found some dirt in my eye flushed it out & was on my way. She saved my trip.
