My visit with Dr. K has always been great. I appreciate the fact that she does both psycho therapy as well as medication. Since I started seeing her, I am on the least amount of medication & at the same time feeling so much better. Because of her treatment approach, I have recommended Dr. K to a few of my friends.

Dr. Kannankeril is a fantastic psychiatrist. She's caring and compassionate and I always leave a session feeling better. Unlike my past psychiatrist, Dr. K does a lot of talk therapy, so I see her for both therapy and medication management. Very happy I found her.

Dr. Kannankeril has previously been the Medical Director of Psychiatric Emergency Services as well as the Chairperson of the Department of Psychiatry at Saint Mary's Hospital in Passaic, New Jersey. Dr. Kannankeril has been in private practice full-time in Northern New Jersey for over twenty years now.
Dr. Kannankeril has been trained to help people with a variety of Psychiatric disorders, including panic disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, and more. I saw Dr. Kannankeril twice but could not afford to go back again once I was informed AFTER my second visit the cost (my fault for assuming it would be a reasonable price). She said her office was supposed to call me after my first visit to discuss cost. Almost 2 months later I never did receive that call. Make sure you can afford it before you make your first appointment (I don't know anyone who could afford these prices)
