My visit to the office was absolutely awesome!!!! The doctor made me feel welcomed and comfortable.I have to admit i was nervous for no apparent reason just because.But i know she sensed it so she made me feel comfortable.Thanks for the awesome bedside manner!!!!

Dr. Kondoleon was very helpful. She answered all my questions thoroughly and explain all forms of birth control including the pros and cons of each. Her explantations helped me to decide which form was right for me and I also got a better understanding of each one. She also had me laughing which made me more comfortable. The wait was your typical wait at a doctor's office, no more or less. I would suggest this office and Dr. Mary Kondoleon especially if it is your first visit !

After earning her MD at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1993, Dr. Kondeleon went on to complete her residency in OB-GYN at St. Joseph’s Medical Center at Seton Hall University – where she also held the position of Chief Administrative resident. Before joining Athena Healthcare, she worked as Clinic Attending Physician/Faculty at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey in the OB-GYN department. She also served as Attending Physician at North Hudson Community Action Health Center in Hackensack.
Dr. Kondoleon has always had a strong interest in science. She earned her MS from Rutgers University in Zoology before attending medical school, and she also served as Clinical Research Associate in infectious diseases for fifteen years at Hoffman-LaRoche in Nutley, NJ. Her interest in medicine was sparked, and she knew it was the field for her. Dr. Kondoleon has published a number of research works, including her summer student research project “Ketansoran drug study to promote healing of docubitus ulcers” in 1989.
Dr. Kondoleon currently holds the prestigious title of junior fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Kondoleon is happily accepting new patients, so schedule an appointment today!

For a first appointment it was very good. The staff was kind and I was seen in a fair amount of time. But I didn't realize that I was going to see the PA instead of the actual physician. But the PA was professional and was willing to answer questions.

The wait time wasn't terrible for being a new patient. I had to fill out paper work and what not so that took up some time for them to enter it into the computer. Dr. Kondoleon was really great. She was friendly and funny. She really blew me away with how nice she was and how thoroughly she explained everything for me. Even the nurses were great. There were three on staff at the time of my appointment and the two at the front desk were exceptionally cordial. However, unfortunately I got stuck with the third nurse who was pretty rude and treated me as if I were an idiot. Despite that the whole experience was one of the best I've had at a doctors office. And I really despise going to the doctor. Most of the time I will avoid it at all costs.

Dr Kondoleon is knowledgeable and compassionate! She listened without rushing me, completely understood my concerns and gave me the exact help I needed. Her office staff were pleasant and patient over the phone and in the office. It was the most comfortable experience I have had in a doctor's office in a long time! I highly recommend this doctor!

Everyone in the office were so nice! I've had horrible experiences with previous gynecologists and this office made me feel great. So understanding, kind, and they got everything done so fast. I was in and out if my annual exam within 40 minutes (including paperwork and consultation). I will be recommending to all of my friends and family!

I arrived 30 minutes before my appointment, and I knew I will have to wait. But my waiting time lasted until 12, when the doctor finally entered in the room (my appointment was at 11:00 am). She only spent 5-7 minutes with me. I didn't feel like she really cares about my problem. She acted like she has no time and is in the hurry. Am a little disappointed.

I loved my visit with Dr. Kondoleon.She was friendly, warming and very knowledgeable. She has recommended tactics as well as home remedies to keep myself healthy. The staff was also nice and professional. I will definitely continue to see Dr. Kondoleon for my annual check ups.
