Dr. Murray is wonderful. She has the most lovely bedside manner and I felt that she was easy to open up to -- an important qualification in an OBGYN! She was extremely thorough and identified a few things that no prior doctor ever has. I am thrilled to have found her and plan to be a long-time patient!

Mary was very nice. I felt very comfortable and at ease as we spoke about my symptoms and concerns. Her assistant was also very pleasant and the small talk came naturally. My first apt was more of a meeting and discussing my issue. Dr. Murray chose to perform an exam at another appointment. I liked this and felt it a nice change from other OBGYNs who've given me physical exams but didn't make themselves available to talk or really meet me. It definitely contributed to the calming and positive atmosphere of the place. I plan on seeing her in the future as well. The only aspect of my appointment that I was disappointed in was that I felt I didn't have the opportunity to give the full scope of my medical history pertaining to the issue I'm having. Overall, her plan of action seems very thorough so I'm not as concerned about the time I had talking.

Dr. Mary Elizabeth Murray returns to New England after serving as Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Nantucket, Massachusetts. She is thrilled to be back in the area and returning to the practice she founded with her friend and partner, Dr. Miriam Sivkin.
Dr. Murray attended college at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia where she studied Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Latin. She received her Doctorate of Medicine from the Georgia Health Sciences University (formerly The Medical College of Georgia) and completed an internship in Family Medicine, followed by a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Medical College of Georgia and Albert Einstein in New York. Dr. Murray has been recognized by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology for her research. She received a prestigious research award from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists for her work with HPV during her residency. She has been recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Board certified since 2003.
She believes that it is a privilege to take care of women during all of the many dynamic changes our bodies experience including adolescence through reproductive years to menopausal needs. She offers many therapeutic and diagnostic minimally invasive procedures. She emphasizes communication and education in her patient relationships and believes that it is not only the physician, but the entire team of healthcare professionals who are responsible for providing the best care possible. She uses both traditional and alternative care solutions in her treatment plans, as well as bio identical hormone replacement in certain patient populations. Although as a surgeon she enjoys the operating room and takes great care in keeping her patients safe and providing exceptional surgical expertise, she promotes wellness and preventative care measures in her office practice. Dr. Murray is a DaVinci certified surgeon.
As a mother and a professional, she understands and respects women's time and the many responsibilities of her patients.

The staff was extremely welcoming and easy to talk to. They made me very comfortable and the doctor was so kind. I plan to continue to go there and am excited to have Mary Murray as my new doctor. She seems very knowledgeable and her bedside manner was terrific.
