The only part that really confused me was probably out of the Dr.'s locus of control, but my lab corps bills were not sent to my insurance and now there is a huge process I am taking on to get these processed properly when I feel it's the lab's and insurance's job and it's been put on me.

Had a great visit Dr Sajjad and his assistant. They both addressed the issues at hand and started to create a treatment plan. Did a full workup, got new RX, EKG, and ordered labs right away. He was not insulting when reviewing medical records from Mexico. He looked over them with an open mind. New labs were requested only because there was no previous labs to compare to. And some results were concerning him from the Mexico records. He and his assistant are friendly and we did not feel rushed during the consultation. Definitely recommend. Was able to schedule an appt the following day with no issues and office staff is friendly as well.

Insulted my intelligence several times and questioned the Mayo Clincs practices by constantly saying "That a doesn't make sense. Why didnt they do 'this' or 'that". Well gee doc I'm not the specialist, how am I suppose to answer all these questions!?

I will admit that I'm not entirely sure what his specialty encompasses, that was the first of my mistakes. However, once I met with the doctor, he heavily questioned everything about my past treatment, including my birth control that I have using successfully for 2 years! I voiced my concerns regarding my current medication therapy and that I was trying to cut down on the number of controlled substances I was taking (because even I thought that it might have been a bit much), and while I completely respect what he does and his thoroughness in trying to understand underlying problems, I do not appreciate being treated as if I was doctor shopping (i.e. asking why I'm seeing doctors in North Scottsdale when I only recently moved towards his area and was contemplating making his office my primary care physician BECAUSE of the recent move), being accused of taking a "3% chance on pregnancy" even though I am completely adherent in my medication therapy in regards to my birth control (I do not appreciate being asked WHY I am SO confident in the fact that I'm not pregnant thank you), and that "my license is too important for me to take a chance on your 3% chance of pregnancy" even though I told him when my last period had ended and that I was abstinent at the moment. In the end, I received my maintenance medications, but not without feeling completely harassed and as if I, personally as well as every doctor I have seen so far was been negligent in my treatment. I understand his concerns with my controlled substance medications, because I shared those concerns myself but to interrogate me on my maintenance medications that help with controlling my menstrual cycle, allergies, and antidepressants because his license is just "too important" proves to me, at least, that he is less concerned with helping you as a patient and more concerned with staying in the comfortable position that he is in now. This was my first visit here, and after the harassment I just endured, I can absolutely guarantee that it will be my last.

I've been to three Primary Care Physicians this year, Dr. Sajjad is the absolute best!
He and his staff are very well educated and it is clear he doesn't tolerate errors. He spent more time with me than any other doctor I have seen, he listened, and he actually seemed to want to help me, which I am sadly finding to be very rare.
I went in thinking I might get advice on allergy medication, as several cardiologists had canceled my appointment with them, but when I mentioned this, and mentioned why I had been told to see a cardiologist, he changed the appointment and entirely focused on this much more pressing issue that my previous doctor always ignored. I would heavily recommend this doctor to anyone.

I have seen Dr. Sajjad as a primary care doctor for almost two years now and I am completely happy with his care, bedside manor when I have been in the hospital, knowledge of all aspects of my medical needs past and present. Dr Sajjad is highly professional and spends more time with you than most doctors will ever consider doing. He's very personable, has a sense of humor, and listens carefully to my needs. He's the exact opposite of doctors who run patient mills. Almost every time I visit his office, he sees me within 5 or 10 minutes of my appointment time and he often schedules appointments for the same day or next. Furthermore, his new office is exceptionally clean and well maintained. I highly recommend him as a primary care physician.

Dr.Sajjad was awesome! Spent quite a bit of time with us and also did a great background check to make sure we gorgeous the correct care!.. the staff seemed confused and not very friendly! And took forever to get us a work release almost an hour after the appointment! I would most definitely recommend Dr Sajjad

As usual, I was greeted with warm welcoming smiley faces by the front desk staff by Name, checked in immediately & waited long enough to sit down and open a magazine, then Josh popped out the door asking if I were ready. Did weigh in & bp thing, started to catch up on my texts in exam room maybe 5 or 10 mins. Dr. Sajjad was his wonderful caring self, Hey my situation was/is anything but cut & dry - since the day my husband & I met him till this recent visit he address all my issues, updates my medicinal scripts, notes recent Specialist visits & notes my upcoming diagnostic events w/who, where, & the plan for future diagnostics. He's like my quarterback & keeps me on a path he sees best for my wellbeing, he might feel like a mental therapist at times & never makes me feel rushed or as tho he's not really interested, I don't have anything to gain from sharing my appreciation for having crossed the path of this gentleman & his wife. Mrs. Dr. S.. I've referred people to her as well, who have personally thanked me! All this said, I'm grateful & thankful.. Now you can do what you eant w/that! I was thoroughly impressed. It was my first visit to Dr. Sajjad. I was a bit nervous because of the seriousness of the visit. He was so easy to talk with, he listened carefully and continually asked me if I had more to say. He seemed to really be interested. He plans on contacting my previous Dr.s to get their records. He also wanted a baseline from his own experience so he ran or scheduled other tests as well. I took a nurse friend along with me to the appointment for my own comfort. She was equally impressed with him and is recommending him to other friends needing a Dr.
