Dr. Matthew Johnson is a second-generation chiropractor who has been involved in the field since he was 13. Starting in the back office of his father’s practice, he set up patients on decompression and performed electrical stimulation and ultrasound treatments. Raised vegetarian and living a healthy, holistic lifestyle since birth, he wanted to continue that lifestyle for himself and his family. With a sound background in holistic therapies, Dr. Johnson sought out the advanced allopathic model to better understand the other side of health care. This led him to work in Pain Management and specialize in manipulation under anesthesia.
In the surgical center, Dr. Johnson avoided prescribing pain pills by recommending pain procedures to prevent patient addiction to drugs. During these procedures, he assisted in surgeries and performed adjustments while the patient was unconscious. This approach helped people who otherwise could not tolerate normal chiropractic treatment. The pain procedures Dr. Johnson was involved in directly include percutaneous discectomies, epidurals, radio-frequency ablations of nerves, facet joint injections, spinal cord stimulators, kyphoplasty, transforaminal injections, caudal injections, sympathetic/parasympathetic blocks, and stem cell procedures. These procedures were ordered by Dr. Johnson and performed by neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, and pain management doctors. He was the main lecturer for stem cell procedures and has eight years of experience in stem cell therapy for tissue regeneration and autoimmune disorders.
Dr. Johnson holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker University and bachelor’s degrees from both California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and Parker University. He has returned to Texas to raise his two daughters in the holistic model and setting in which he was raised. Since then, he has stepped away from the allopathic model and returned to the most advanced holistic practice he could find.

Dr. Johnson was AMAZING. Im an active adult and when my body felt out of whack I knew I had to see what was going on. Dr. Johnson helped me understand where the problem areas were, helped align my hips and legs, gave me exercises to maintain and regain strength and balance throughout my body.
