A native of Connecticut, Matt’s acupuncture education spanned four academic years and over 3,000 hours (including over 1,000 hours of clinical training). He completed an internship in Chengdu, China where he studied with some of China’s best traditional doctors in a busy, mainstream, modern hospital that incorporated both traditional Chinese and Western medicine. Matt opened Sea Change Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine in the Summer of 2007.
Although TCM is over 3,000 years old, Matt believes it is an ever-evolving field and enjoys staying current on all the latest developments and research. While many practitioners adhere strictly to a certain style of TCM, Matt employs a number of different modalities and schools of thought in his treatments. Each treatment is uniquely tailored to promote each patient’s healing.
