Dr. Mintz has been providing my health care for more than a decade and I would highly recommend his practice to anyone, particularly families.
In addition to getting appointments promptly Dr. Mintz responds quickly to emails and telephone calls. His professional manner and personal touch is very reassuring. During my 79 years I have experienced the services of a number of doctors but Dr.Mintz is the first doctor to provide a comprehensive service, guiding me through visits to specialists and monitoring my hospital care.

Dr. Mintz has been my physician for more than 20 years. This visit, like our many others, was conducted professionally; with care to address all factors that may affect my health; with patience while explaining my test results, options available, next steps and follow-up; and in a manner that made me feel I was in the hands of a very capable and empathetic doctor.

Dr. Mintz has been my primary care physician for more than 10 years. He's quite extraordinary. He was chief resident at George Washington University Medical Center and then practiced at GW Medical Faculty Associates. I've been blessed with having a long series of docs at GW, of which Dr. Mintz was the latest and just about the best. He seems to have encyclopedic knowledge and keeps up with "the literature". He listens carefully, asks good questions, and responds clearly. He is appropriately conservative in a good way (e.g., use of antibiotics) and readily provides referrals to more specialized doctors. He has always been easy to reach by telephone and responds quickly to emails. I consider myself very lucky to have received such outstanding medical service for the last 10+ years.

In a word, uplifting. At one time, my wife made that observation. Does not make you feel he needs to get to his next patient. Explains how he reached a diagnosis. Listens. Does not over prescribe. Knowledgeable. An excellent doctor and a good person.

Dr. Mintz is an excellent doctor. He's extremely knowledgeable, easy to talk with, and he returns calls and emails very promptly. He's been my doctor for years, and even though I live in Arlington VA, I kept him as my primary care physician when he recently moved his office from downtown to a much more remote location (for me) in Bethesda.

I enjoyed my visit thoroughly. His staff was very friendly, kind, and professional. They eased my anxiety. Dr. Mintz was very thorough and caring and helped educate me on what steps I needed to follow. His follow-up was greatly appreciated as well. I highly recommend Dr. Mintz.

Dr. Mintz has been my family's doctor for many years and I hope for many years to come. He reminds me of the neighborhood doctor from my childhood because of his knowledge, concern, and availability.

Dr. Mintz is an excellent internist...he is a very smart Doc, good listener, very perceptive...none of which is surprising since he comes with very impressive credentials. He is also a likeable and decent person.

I was a patient of Dr. Mintz for several years at GW Medical Faculty Foundation and have recently followed him to private practice. I have complex health issues that have been managed with great skill and compassion. I always come away from an appointment with new knowledge about my condition and treatment plan and increased respect for this consummate professional.

Dr. Mintz is not your old fashioned Marcus Welby-type physician., but he comes close. Over the 4-5 years I've been going to him, I've been most impressed with the way he always seems to be on top of developments in his field and in others. That, to me, is well worth a 5-10 minute delay every now and then--and it's never been any more than that.

As my primary doctor for more than 15 years, Dr. Mintz has consistently proved invaluable to my continued good health and medical well being. He is that great modern medical doctor who exemplifies the medical values so hard to find these days – rapid response times, encyclopedic medical knowledge, a patient friendly office and staff, and invaluable medical guidance and advice. During the years Dr Mintz has been my physician, I’ve missed work only a handful of days due to illness – and I credit his office as a primary factor for my ongoing good health.

Dr Mintz has been my physician for a few years. He listens and addresses my concerns. He has a tremendous understanding of the human body. His approach is thoughtful and thorough. I enjoy my visits to Dr Mintz and give him my highest recommendation.

A visit to Dr. Mintz is reminiscent of what doctor visits were like 30+ years ago. He takes time to listen and then provides a thorough exam and diagnosis whether it takes 10, 20, 30 minutes or more, unlike "factory" practices where the doctor, or perhaps only a nurse practitioner, has to keep an eye on the clock so as to see as many patients as they can in any given period of time.

My visit, like all of the visits I have had with Dr, Mintz, is something I look forward to. While most people would not describe their doctor's visit that way, my visits to him are always pleasant, professional, and I always get Dr. Mintz' full attention. I have known Dr. Mintz for almost 18 years and I have followed him wherever he goes. He is very informative and will take the time to research issues while you are there so that you are participating in the decisions for the best options for your care. Dr. Mintz does more than look at your medical chart; he takes a good look at you, completely. He makes sure all aspects of your health are considered. He never rushes you out of his office and is always willing to hear and answer your questions. If you are looking for a knowledgeable doctor with an old-fashion touch, then Dr. Mintz is the medical professional you seek.
