My mother my father and I had I'm appointment with Dr. Matthew Phan today. His demeanor and professionalism was perfect. We had an appointment so there was almost no wait time, his office was clean and well staffed and included what appeared to be the best machines. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and to personalize our prescriptions per our Daly activities. My mother is on a walker ,my dad in a wheelchair, Dr. fan Open the door for us as we left and even opened the door into the LensCrafters Store next to his. I cannot say enough nice things about our experience today. Thank you Dr. Phan and staff.

Dr. Matthew Phan was born in Aransas Pass, Texas and raised in Houston. He is the youngest of five children and the first eye doctor in his family. His hobbies are ping pong, billiards, biking, and board games. He enjoys all types of food, especially when it is spicy, and is always willing to try new things. He completed his undergraduate at The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Human Biology. His optometric courses were completed at The Ohio State University College of Optometry, a nationally renowned school. What drives his passion for optometry is the ability to help people, spend time with them, and ultimately improve their lives. His interests in optometry are pediatrics, low vision, and multifocal contact lens fittings. He has training in the management of binocular vision conditions, specialty contact lens fittings, disease management, dry eye management, low vision exams, and managing patients that are on long-term use of medications that can affect the health of the eyes. His experience in Ohio had shown him what is truly important. That wonderful thing he found was the meaning of family. He has come back to Texas to be closer to his family and to take care of yours. He is excited to be part of The Woodlands Eye Professional team and looks forward to taking care of your family’s eyes.

Very professional. Got in for appointment early and finished with exam just a few minutes after it was suppose to start. Explained what he was doing in simple terms instead of using long impossible to understand words that doctors love to use to demonstrate superiority. Highly recommend to everyone. Only complaint is stop with multiple emails confirming and reminding of appointment. One reminder and one confirmation is enough. It gets annoying after 5/6 reminders over two days.

Matthew is very knowledgeable and extremely kind. Gave me a lot of contact samples to see which one I like most, no just one pair like many other doctors. The receptionists don't really know what is going on and asked me questions that I had already filled out on my new patient paperwork. Small wait room with a lot of people.

Fantastic actually. I was given the option to not dilate my eyes for they have new tech. So grateful for I have light sensitivity already, and with the new technology there was no need to dilate. I will be returning!
