Dr. Matthew Shahbandi is a brilliant and engaging urologist serving northern New Jersey with offices in the cities of Wayne and Clifton New Jersey.
Dr. Shahbandi is board certified by the American Urology Association. He received his M.D. from Boston University and completed his post-graduate education at the University of Massachusetts and Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Hospital in London.
Dr. Shahbandi has an impressive scope of medical knowledge and makes every effort to put his patients at ease and provide them with the best comprehensive care. To that end, his consultations, are always very precise and thorough.
Dr. Shahbandi has expertise in the care of all Adult and Pediatric, Male and Female Urologic disorders such as kidney stones, urine infection, blood in the urine, erectile dysfunction, impotence and infertility, urinary frequency and incontinence and enlargment of the prostate and performance of vasectomy and circumcision procedures and Urologic Cancers including cancers of the prostate, bladder, kidney and testes.
He has a complete state of the art testing and treatment environment in the office allowing his patients to be evaluated and treated in a timely and efficient manner.

I am out of town patient. I was in to do a follow up after a Catheter procedure in a Hospital ER. He was very cordial and answered his follow up diagnosis and prognosis were to the mark. I am an engineer, so what do I know about the things he pOdid, said and advised?! But you do can understand if a doctor is right and doing his job. And I believe.
I am happy. Only time will tell if all his suggestions are valuable. So I will comeback and complete this review after my original urologist agrees with his.

Doctor is good and he’s nice BUT .... office staff is terrible! They called me and cancelled 2 twice! And have the nerve to scream at me on the phone! Especially the employee from Newark she’s nasty ..and ghetto.

Nice Doctor but the Clifton location needs a serious face lift. Watch out for Jeanette at the Wayne office - she has a really bad attitude! Extremely unprofessional. Might want to reconsider your staff!! Waiting on the office manager Gina to return my phone call.

A strange doctor office that lacked basic equipment for your vitals. The nurse was asking me what was my weight and height (!) surely no blood pressure measuring. Doctor doesn't seem to be interested in your medical history related to this visit. He didn't spend even 5 minutes with me,perhaps just another of the machines he new how to fix!
