We do not accept insurance ahead of time, but we will provide you with all the documentation you need to submit for insurance after the visit.
As a result of both his professional and personal experiences, Dr. Zerden is a firm believer in providing easily accessible vasectomy care. He understands that minimally invasive vasectomy is the safest and most effective method for preventing pregnancy.
Matthew Zerden, MD, MPH, is a board-certified OBGYN and board-certified Complex Family Planning subspecialist in North Carolina and Virginia. He currently works as an OBGYN in the hospital and in clinics in the Triangle.
Dr. Zerden earned his Doctor of Medicine from Harvard University and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
His academic appointments include Clinical Assistant Professor of OBGYN at the UNC School of Medicine; Consulting Associate in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at Duke School of Medicine; and OBGYN Clerkship Director of the Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine at the Raleigh Campus.

Booking and visit was very fast and easy, my recovery went very well with the help of medication and now it feels like it never happened, very happy with the results!

Everything was simple, quick, and convnient. Dr. Zerden did a great job of making sure I was well informed before, during, and after the procedure & I had all of my questions answered in an easy to understand way. He clearly cares about his patients and the quality of their experience. If vasectomies ever come up in conversation, I will definitely be recommending Dr. Zerden!

I really liked the fact that the price wasn’t hidden until I met with Dr. Zerden, unlike a lot of facilities around me. I was well informed about how the procedure would go and how to recover quickly afterwards. The procedure was only about 15 minutes, which was half of the time I was there. I highly recommend Dr. Zerden for performing a vasectomy!

Even though my procedure was one of the tougher ones, it was quick and easy. Recovery took a couple days, I was lifting weights after a week with little discomfort. Highly recommend!

Dr. Zerden was professional and efficient, and the surgery went very quickly and smoothly. I would recommend this office to my friends and family interested in a vasectomy.

Was super easy. Walked right in, answered some questions and then went to work. The procedure was pretty painless and recovery hasn't been bad at all.

Dr. Zerden is very professional and friendly. I was somewhat nervous about the procedure but he made me feel more at ease. The vasectomy went very quickly and there wasn’t much pain. I drove from a little over an hour away and was able to drive myself home. I have a physical job so the next week I wasn’t able to do as much as I hoped but overall everything went really smooth and the pain wasn’t bad unless I overdid it. I had a good experience with Dr. Zerden and the no scalpel vasectomy. I have recommended him to multiple people I know that are looking into getting a vasectomy
