Had a 12pm visit for lunch. Didn’t finish till 2:05pm, well after lunch! Not good. No bueuno! Doctor Herrera on the other hand appears to know his stuff and my case wasn’t severe so it was reassuring.
Very informative and professional. He really shows interest you and that he enjoys his work
Seen Dr Herrea for many years. Very professional and down to earth, a definite people person. Provides very realistic recommendations/assessments and does not push for sugery.
Oh my god. I never had this good experience ever. From checking in to see Dr. Herrera, it was a wonderful experience. 5 minutes after checking in, I was called to take an x-ray on my knee. After the e-ray, Dr. Herrera came in 5 minutes to review the x-ray with me. He ordered the MRI for me. I was told that his MRI department will call my insurance to get approval and they will call me once they get the approval so I can schedule my MRI appointment. The front desk girl explained to me very clear how the process go. While I was leaving waiting for the elevator, I received the phone call from their MRI department saying that my MRI has been approved. I can scheduled my MRI appointment. Wow, so efficient! I wish every doctor like Dr. Herrera. One area might need to be looked at is I filled out all the paperwork online thru Zocdoc before my appointment and I was told the form was outdated and I have to do it again in the office.
Office was a disaster. I waited nearly two hours for a 9 AM appointment. Herrera was very nice in the five or so minutes he eventually spent with me, but when my MRI results came back a few weeks later regarding a serious chronic pain issue I have suffered for almost four years, they apparently did not reveal anything he thought was worthy to discuss with me personally. He had a physician's assistant call instead, who asked if I was feeling fine now (as though I would undergo an MRI for a minor condition that would magically heal within a week of the test) and informed me that they found nothing significant. The only recommendation was physical therapy, which I have already tried with multiple different therapists. Total waste of time and money.
Very knowledgeable doctor explains everything very clearly and takes his time with the patient
excellent dr
I went in with a torn ACL. Once I got to see Dr. Herrara, I could tell he was rushing and barely hearing my story or how it happened. Anyways, he order an MRI, once I got the MRI, he called me and suggested surgery and to scheduled it with this secretary, without discussing other options or the exact procedure or even post-op (which is tought). I said 'Ok' and schedule, then since he didn't discuss the procedure type of graft or anything, I tried contacting him, it took me over a week to get a call back. Sometime that bother me too, was that even though I was leaning toward an allograft, I asked about his opinion with autograft too and he suggested that was "old school" and he hasn't done those in years. How can it be old school??? A lot of pros and young active people do autograft. I just didn't feel comfortable with him, and decided to go somewhere else. Definitely felt like I was just another surgery (which I know I am), but you expect a little more.
The waiting time was excruciating. My appointment was at 1:00. Got there at 12:30 as adviced to fill new patient forms. Left at 3:45 - took X-rays in 15 minutes. Saw the doctor, which was great, for another 15. The rest was time I'll never get back ....
Although the Dr was very knowledgeable and had a good bedside manner, the two and a half hour wait to see him was extremely frustrating. I would hesitate to return for that very reason as I feel it is disrespectful to the patients to keep them waiting that long. In addition, the waiting room itself was dark and dinghy, thus making the wait even more unpleasant. If he improved on these two things, I am certain I would have given him a much better rating.
Quede muy satisfecha con sus explicaciones me gusto su trato respetuosos pero muy amable lo recomiendo mucho
Other than having to wait over an hour to see Dr. Herrera, I had a good experience. The staff was pleasant and Dr. Herrera took time to explain my options. I will continue to see him for my orthopedic needs and would definitely recommend him to others.
Dr. Herrera is very personable and approachable. I just wish I hadn't been kept waiting for over two hours before I saw him (my appointment was for 1pm, and I finally saw the doctor at 3:15)
excellent Doctor
Excellent Dr!
I liked everything about my visit. The staff was very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend others to this office. I even commented to the doctor about how well I enjoyed his staff. Patricia D.
Extremely bad experience!!! Late, does not call back, no follow-up, you call and no one answers, barely pays attention to your condition. I would recommend you go somewhere else! Terrible service and care.
Great physician! He will do other treatments before he recommends surgery. He explains things very thoroughly!
Unless you're getting surgery they really don't care.
Dr. Herrera is very professional, warm and has excellent bedside manners.
Surprisingly efficient office for how busy it is. I am impressed. Everyone from the check-in to the x-ray technician and the doctor were extremely courteous and attentive.
Doctor Herrera is great! The office not so much. Still waiting on a call back yo discuss Certain details of insurance coverage etc...
He took time to really listen to my concerns. He was very thorough in his explanations of all questions I asked using every day language and not big medical terms. The entire staff and front desk people was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend Dr. Herrera to my family and friends!
gran medico
Wonderful
I absolutely loved this Dr. He was very thorough, attentive & he made me feel very cared for. He took his time to explain everything to me and did not rush me out of his office like almost every Dr does.
Great staff and a very well equipped clinic with all the necessary instrumentation and qualified personnel
Very good professions and great staff
Being a 1st time patient, I was extremely satisfied at how efficient the staff was. I had had an MRI done a while back (2012) and they contacted the imaging center who promptly sent them my results. Great for me as I did not need to take more time off from work to get another MRI done. The doctor was able to see what was going on and to determine next course of action. VERY Happy!
Very concerned professional. Will work with anyone to fix their orthopaedic concerns. I am getting older and have been to several orthopaedists for concerns and he is the first to actually listen AND fix the problem.
Previously recomended great outcome to my health situation. Explained everything very well without rushing. Very human anbd proffesional
Busy practice, wait is variable, today longer than other times, however to be expected. Very personable physician, with nice physcian extender support and administrative support. Overall good experience.
Fantastic. If you are unsure of your problem or unsure what to do about your pain he takes the time to explain it to you. He provides you with choices on how to fix the problem and explains all choices. He definitely makes sure you understand what is happening and why. If you need surgery he is available before and after for any concerns. Follow ups are easy and happen quickly. He is the only orthopaedic surgeon you will ever need to see.
The Doctor was very nice and knowledgeable and so was the staff! The doctor took the time to diagnose and explain my problem. I would definitely recommend this place!
I enjoyed my visit. Only problem was too long waiting to see doctor after getting an x ray.
Awesome!
Once the consultation started it was very professional with excellent descriptive procedures which should be expected
The wait was a little long, but he is very knowledgeable in his field. Overall good experience.
Only a first visit. A very polite doctor and a very pleasent and professional atmosphere.
