Great visit and quick attention. There is a lot of paperwork to fill out for your first visit so make sure you arrive early.

He was thorough and seemed caring. I felt he would be available as needed, and he would find a solution to my problem.

Great Dr. Very knowledgeable and concerned. Satisfied and felt as though he had recommendations that were helpful.
Verified patient
I am impressed by his reluctance to rush into a procedure if he judges it to be not truly necessary at the moment.
Verified patient
Excellent he spent a lot of time with me, answered all questions and suggested a conservative plan of action.

Dr Shapiro is very good doctor I had a procedure done last week. The staff was great.
Verified patient
Very nice person. The most caring, sympathetic doctor I have met in a very long time.
Verified patient
Quite curt. Seems uninterested. No follow-through. Just seems like he's checked out.
I highly recommend Dr. Shapiro. He is efficient, competent and knowledgeable.
Overall visit was okay. Doctor seemed a bit distracted and rushed though.
Fine, so far, but I was irritated by having to wait 45 minutes or more.
He was attentive, not rushed and caring. An excellent healer.

Verified patient
Dr. Shapiro was great. He spent a long time with me and listened to all of my concerns. I appreciated that he wanted to take a less invasive approach. He also has a great bedside manner.
Overall good visit. Waiting time wasnt bad although I believe the nurses were short staffed. FYI: parking will run you about an extra $5
Verified patient
Dr. Shapiro was very friendly and knowledgable. If ou want a doctor that is thorough but doesnt spend 30mins asking every question under the sun like when was the last time your uncle had a soda, then this is your guy.
Verified patient
Dr Shapiro is great! He came in, sat down, and we actually had a conversation about what was going on. Very thorough, in my opinion. I didnt personally need to take a great deal of his time, but I do feel like had I needed him longer it wouldnt have been an issue. My family and I are from out of state, and I had a bit of anxiety over choosing the right doctor. Dr Shapiro did not disappoint.
Dr. Shapiro took an extra step to accommodate me, which I appreciate greatly. Dr Shapiro is an excellent doctor, and his team was seamless from beginning to follow-up. My husband had a great experience with Dr. Shapiro when he had his colonoscopy done a couple years ago. I will visit him again in the future; I highly recommend him.
Verified patient
Dr. Shapiro is very concerned with your problems and complaints. He listens well and is very sharp in his field. I like his personality and promptness.
Verified patient
Everything was great except that the ZocDoc system of filling up paperwork in advance failed and the front office said they had no records of. This was despite the fact that Zocdoc texted me earlier in the day saying that all the docs had been sent to the office and they had printed it.
Verified patient
He was professional and friendly. He listened.
Dr. Shapiro is a great doctor...very nice man, very knowledgeable, and very helpful. The staff members are very nice and willing to help!
Verified patient
Dr Shapiro did not listen to the medical complaint in details, rushed through and was done meeting me under 15 minutes. He was very quick to make a decision and just referred me to the surgeon. I provided him with the documents from overseas doctor, he did not even want to look at them.
Verified patient
Dr. Shapiro really listened to what my main concerns were. He didn't push every type of test possible at me which is what I've had other doctors do. The only down side was the long wait at the office.
Verified patient
I did not like the fact that I was presented with a large stack of paperwork to complete when I was a returning patient of Dr. Shapiro'so. To add insult to injury, the RN asked me many of the same questions again verbally and she seemed disorganized as she should have referred to everything I had just painstakingly filled out in writing. Once Dr. Shapiro entered the examination room within 15 minutes, the ship was righted again as he is the consummate professional--very friendly and engaging. While I'm not a fan of his support staff, I heartily endorse Dr. Shapiro who is a kind, caring, sensitive, intuitive physician!
Very easy and timely appointment. Dr Shapiro had a good bedside manner. Only issue was the 5 pages of paperwork to fill out, but that is par for the course at any doctor's office.
I feel like I was rush we wasn't on time. He was late we were half an hour early he was late he was very dismissive to me and my aunt. stated the previous doctor was retired without really knowing. check out nurse wasn't pleasant nor the lady at the desk. The only nice people were the front desk and the nurse who took down the information.
Verified patient
I felt he really listened.
I FELT HE JUST GENERALIZED MY SYMPTOMS AND DIDN'T REALLY STRIVE TO GET TO THE ROOT OF PROBLEM HE DID RECOMMEND A COLONOSCOPY WHEN I WAS COMPLAINING OS STOMACH ISSUES!! I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT HE WOULD SAY AN UPPER ENDOSCOPY OR UPPER GI BUT HE DIDN'T AND HE ONLY ORDERED THE MRI BECAUSE I WAS INSISTENT THAT MY STOMACH PAIN WAS NOT COMING FROM OCCASIONAL BACK PAIN! WHEN I FINALLY DID GO TO ANOTHER GASTRO ENTEROLOGIST HE ORDERED AN UPPER ENDOSCOPY AND FOUND GASTRITIS AND HAD TO BALLOON MY ESOPHAGUS DUE TO NARROWING!! BIG DIFFERENCE IN DOCTORS I WOULD SAY!!

Dr Shapiro has a very relaxed, unhurried, concerned and informative manner. He took his time and was very thorough. I was very pleased with my visit today.
Verified patient
Dr. Shapiro was very kind and patient. He asked lots of pertinent questions, and answered all of mine. The appointment did not seem rushed; in fact, he took his time to figure things out before suggesting a common-sense course of treatment. I was very pleased with the entire experience.
Hardly spent time with me. Didn't seem to care much. Felt a few areas an let me go. Didn't offer any additional information, but did answer the questions I had.

Great doctor very thorough
Verified patient
Great visit overall. Answered all of my questions. The only negative thing I would have to say is that my problem went unsolved which was not intentional. I do greatly appreciate that this was thorough and answered all questions. He did not talk over me and did not leave the patient room until we finished my appointment.
Dr Shaprio was very professional and really took the time to answer my questions. While I waited longer than expected both the doctor and his assistant recognized the long wait and apologized for it.
Verified patient
He is a great doctor! He took the time to ask several questions and answered all of mine as well. He was very professional and friendly. He was not in a hurry like most doctors. I would definitely recommend him.
This was a waste of my time. He made me uncomfortable to talk to him about what was going on. I should of used my co-pay and TIME on a doctor that cared about my condition. I will not be seeing him again.
All OK.
