Meghan is a Board Certified Dermatology Nurse Practitioner who has been in practice since 2013. She attended the University of South Carolina where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and graduated with honors in 2007. She worked as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse at the UC San Diego Hospital system.
In 2013, she graduated from Northern Illinois University with her Master of Science in Nursing where she earned her degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Throughout graduate school, she sought out extra training and rotations with dermatologists to further her knowledge, as she had fallen in love with the specialty.
After graduation, Meghan joined a plastic surgeon who trained her extensively in the art and science of facial anatomy and rejuvenation. As a result, she has a keen artistic eye and a gentle hand when performing procedures.
In 2016, Meghan joined the dermatologists at Advocate Medical Group to combine her love of medical and cosmetic dermatology. She received extensive mentoring and enjoyed seeing a variety of patients. She sat for and passed her Dermatology boards in 2018 – a feat of which she is very proud. There are fewer than 300 Dermatology Certified NPs nationwide!
She joined the Skin Surgery Center in 2021 and enjoys all aspects of dermatological care including medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She is excited to be a part of the Hendersonville community.
Meghan is a member of the Society of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

I wish I had read some of the reviews first. I would have saved myself an hour drive and the experience of having to beg someone to listen to me and treat me like a patient, not an inconvenience. Shocked and disappointed as I sat in my car after leaving in tears, ainderinf what I had done wrong. And then read all the reviews that clearly reiterated the experience I had just gone through. They already know about the poor treatment and have done nothing to change even with reviews and feedback. Not sure what is going on there, but it's not anything I would want to experience again. Begging to be heard by a cold medical provider with zero compassion or interest in you isn't something I would wish on anyone seeking medical care. The Dr office in Arden I called after reading reviews made me an appt 4 months away but recommended this provider and I blindly snagged the next appt available via the website after the Arden office made me a patient over the phone. Lesson learned.
