The only reason I wait to see Dr. Christofferson is because she truly cares about her patients and is very knowledgeable. She does everything she can to make her patients feel comfortable and the staff is very nice! 10/10 recommend.

Dr. Christofferson was amazing when I met with her. She is extremely kind and personable. She’s also very attentive and answers every question you may have and makes sure you’re comfortable with and understand everything that was discussed. She was also so caring and called personally to follow up on me and see how I was doing a couple of days after our visit.

Melanie Christofferson graduated from the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center in Ft. Worth, TX and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in her hometown of El Paso, TX.
Dr. Christofferson has held a life-long interest in women’s health, and she really enjoys getting to know her patients and developing relationships founded in trust and mutual respect. She has particular interests in patient-centered obstetric care, low and high-risk obstetrics, management of abnormal uterine bleeding, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and working with each of her patients to find the best personalized treatment plan for them. In her prior practice, she received both the Isanti County News Reader’s Choice award in Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Hospital Outstanding Patient Experience Award at Cambridge Medical Center in 2017.

It was my first visit with Melanie so I was a bit nervous but she and her staff were amazing. You can tell everyone genuinely cares to be there and make an effort to make you feel comfortable and at ease.

I was overdue to find a new doctor and some health issues forced me to find one that was available asap. I was hesitant to schedule this appt. because I had heard complaonts about Bay Area Obgyn wait times and staff, and there weren't a lot of reviews on Dr. Christofferson since she had just moved to this area. I am so glad that my need to get a quick appt forced me to schedule with Dr. Christofferson. She is very friendly and down to earth with a great bedside manner. She was very thorough and took her time to really listen to me. She was compassionate and very open and supportive. She and her nurse went above and beyond to help me today and make me feel comfortable. I can already say that she is the best doctor I have ever been to. You will not regret making an appointment with this doctor.
