Dr. Thrasher was a great, honest doctor. My wait time was long because I was running late to my appointment. I recommended her to one of my friends and she also had a great experience. She got called away to deliver a baby and her remaining appointments were rescheduled on a Saturday and was also given a gift card. How great is that?!!!

Dr. Melinda Miller-Thrasher is a thorough, attentive OB-GYN treating patients in Atlanta, Georgia, and the surrounding areas. She has more than 22 years of experience and centers her approach on educating, informing, and, thereby, empowering her patients. She also holds certification from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of professional organizations including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the National Medical Association.
In order to pursue her medical degree, Dr. Miller-Thrasher attended the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She continued her medical education at New York University, completing an internship program. Dr. Miller-Thrasher received her residency training through New York University and the Bellevue Hospital Center.
Patients visiting Dr. Miller-Thrasher can receive a full range of obstetric and gynecological care from adolescents to menopause and beyond. She provides general consultations, preconception planning, Pap smear procedures (with review, consultation, and management of abnormal Pap smear), annual gynecological examinations,contraception, and consultations for infertility. Treatment is available for issues including pelvic pain, fertility concerns, STD's, Laparoscopic surgery, abnormal bleeding, ovarian cyst, menopausal management, minimally-invasive surgery removal of fibroid's which includes robotic's as well as minimally-invasive surgery for hysterectomy and in office minimally-invasive procedures including vaginal approach to tubal ligation(Essure) D&C, Hysteroscopy, Endometrial Ablation for heavy vaginal bleeding and LEEP cone biopsy.

For my first visit, I had to wait about 45 minutes to be seen but the staff was professional, courtesy and prompt once I was called back to an exam room. I loved Dr. Miller-Thrasher! She put me right at ease with her sweet disposition and very down to earth attitude. She was not only thorough but vigilent in making sure that any and all concerns for my health and well being were met. For a first time impression, I was definitely IMPRESSED!

Dr. Miller-Thrasher was very warm and friendly. I did not feel like just another patient. She took her time to get to know me as a person, not just a medical chart. The office is very nice and not cold. You can tell she put a lot of thought into making her patients feel welcomed and relaxed in the facility by the detail in the decor and amenities. Lovely experience!

Overall I thought it was a great experience. From the Receptionist to Dr. Miller-Thrasher it was very pleasant. Oh and the office is super posh, I really felt welcomed and right at home.

The complete staff took the time to make certain I understood everything and I left without any questions. Dr. Melinda Miller-Thrasher is certainly one of a kind. I enjoyed my visit. The staff and Dr. Miller-Thrasher made me feel very comfortable. Everything was explained thoroughly and the staff made sure I didn't have any questions. They were very accommodating and the office was easy to find and there was more than enough parking. I will be choosing Dr. Miller- Thrasher for future annuals and as my OB for future pregnancies. I also loved the decor of the office. I would recommend this Dr to any female who needs an all around wonderful Ob/gyn

My first time experience with Dr. Miller-Thrasher was amazing! I really do not like OBGYN visits (what woman does?!) but her care and the patience and kindness of her assistants was excellent. I definitely recommend this doctor and this office!

Dr. Miller-Thrasher is the nicest OBGYN I've ever met! She was patient and wanted to make sure all of my concerns were answered. I didn't feel like I was being rushed in and out so that she could stay on a schedule. What I found even more kind is that because I was on a time constraint she offered to let me call back if I thought of further questions. Her office staff is also extremely friendly. I wish I'd met her years ago!
