I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to the office and encounter with Dr. Blackburn. Lorrie at the front desk and my lab technician was extremely pleasant. I felt that the doctor genuinely put time in making me comfortable and developing a plan of care.

Dr. Blackburn is a very nice, very personable and very professional doctor. She treats her patients like people, not numbers. Furthermore, she is very thorough in her exams - she literally saved my life, as she caught a polyp in my rectum that turned out to be cancer. My surgeon told me many gynecologists skip over a rectal exam nowadays - she didn't. Very highly recommended.

I have been searching for a good GYN doctor in Jackson for a while now. My appointment with Dr. Blackburn was great. She was sweet, and took the time to ask and listen to my concerns. She provided helpful feedback and I never once felt rushed like other offices i have been to. The reception staff were very friendly, just like Dr. Blackburn.

Dr.Blackburn is a breath of fresh air. She is humble, kind and very thorough. She makes you feel very comfortable and answers any questions you may have. I call her my “Shero” cause she has caught what others doctors didn’t. If I could give her 10 stars I would. She just completed my surgery yesterday and she was right there to put me at ease. I highly, highly recommend Dr. Blackburn, she is a GEM!

Office is nice. Wait time was short but the doctors are so so.
Dr. Blackburn didn't male me feel comfortable. She's standoff-ish and cold. Got an ultrasound as requested in her office due to pain/discomfort during exam. It's day 10 and she has still not looked at the results or called me back to explain the delay. I am so scared that something is wrong but the office won't call me back. Awful! Called to make an appointment to have her read results. NO CALL BACK. Unbelievable! Be prepared to be on hold for 10-15 mins on the phone.
I have to get another gynecologist for follow up/read my results. She's just unprofessional. The ultrasound place is in the office where she sees patients. NO EXCUSE!

I would recommend her anytime. She made sure I was comfortable and not nervous. She's very thorough too. If you have had unpleasant experiences or this is your first time visiting a gyn, I definitely would suggest Dr. Blackburn in a heartbeat. I have found my one I'm finally content with.
