Melissa graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology and received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Marshall B. Ketchum University in Orange County, CA.
Prior to joining California Skin Institute, Melissa worked as a physician assistant in dermatology at private practices in Manhattan Beach and Beverly Hills. She specializes in managing diseases of the hair, skin and nails including acne, skin cancer, sun damage, hair loss, eczema, psoriasis, and rashes. Melissa has extensive experience performing various cosmetic procedures such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion, microneedling, laser treatments, Botox, fillers and PRP injections.
Melissa is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, California Academy of Physician Assistants, California Dermatology Physician Assistant Society, and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She is currently completing a fellowship through SDPA’s Diplomate Program.
In her free time, Melissa enjoys exercising, trying new cuisines and restaurants, and binge watching TV.

Provider and the nurse before her had excellent bedside manner, quickly figured out my issue and came up with a treatment plan and follow up.
