Melissa joined St. Louis Women’s Healthcare Group in July of 2019. Prior to joining our practice, she worked primarily in public health clinics associated with Washington University and Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
Melissa has spent her entire nursing career specializing in the care of women and infants. Since becoming a women’s health nurse practitioner in 2011 she has acquired a special interest in working with adolescents, contraception, pregnancy, and postpartum mood disorders. However, she welcomes patients throughout the reproductive life span and enjoys the relationships she gets to develop with those she cares for. She is a proud ally of the LGBTQ+ community and strongly supports the right of all patients to receive safe reproductive health care in a non-judgmental environment.
In her free time Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and multitude of pets. She also loves to run and often uses it as an excuse to travel by participating in different races throughout the country.
