I was born and raised in Barquisimeto Venezuela. I received my Doctorate of Medicine from University Centro-occidental Lisandro Alvarado (UCLA) in Venezuela and completed a residency with the UTMB Health Family Medicine Residency in September 2017.
During my training I was exposed to broad clinical pathologies with the opportunity to learn and to have "full hands-on" training. I found that my best teachers were and still are my patients from whom I learn every single day. During my free time I enjoy going out and spending time with my husband and son. I love to travel, to swim and I am passionate about baseball.
I am certified by The American Board of Family Medicine and am a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

I arrived an hour early and still have to waited 2 hours to see the doctor. When was asked why the wait was so long, i got yelled at that: maybe I should tell the owner of the building to hire more doctor because she’s the only one here... i was completely speechless. Probably the worse experience ever.

Our experience of bringing our toddler to her practice for a sick visit was horrible. Our toddler rarely gets sick in fact twice before in life, once after an allergic reaction and again after a stomach bug. After communicating our child’s overnight fever, congestion, malaise, and persistent cough accompanied by thick dark colored mucous being expelled frequently. Dr. Corzo did not take the time to listen to concerns, and obvious signs and symptoms. She responded that our child, “Didn’t look sick.” Our parents who accompanied us at the appointment, were just as shocked as we were by that observation as we are aware that an subjective observation doesn’t confirm a diagnosis. We then mentioned that these symptoms were not baseline for our child so she proceeded to do a quick physical examination dismissed us with a prescription written for over the counter allergy medication. Today makes one week since taking the allergy medication as prescribed but our son’s symptoms still persist. At this point we will be going for a second opinion.

Dr. Corzo was caring and asked all the right questions. She was very through and diagnosed my problem, explained it to me and gave me a chance to ask anything I wanted to know. She prescribed medications for me and they were ready when I stopped to pick them up. A very pleasant appointment.

She made sure she understood my major issues then went above and beyond to make sure I was given a prescription that was accessible with my insurance, affordable and available at the nearest pharmacy.
