Micah Resnick, MD, is Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He provides comprehensive and customized care to his pediatric patients as he works with them and their families to create treatment plans that work best for each patient. His clinical interests include well-child care, adolescent health, preventive medicine, and patient and family education. By educating patients and their families, he empowers them to make healthy decisions and strengthens their compliance with clinical recommendations. He is inspired by the resiliency of children as they deal with a range of health challenges and he values the positive impact he has on their health and the well-being of their families.
Dr. Resnick received his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine where he was honored with the Most Outstanding Medical Student award. He is passionate about caring for those who are underserved. As a medical student he led a team of peers in a clinic, caring for the homeless in Washington D.C., provided care to those affected by the earthquake in Haiti, and participated in a pediatric AIDS initiative in Swaziland. After medical school, he went on to complete a residency in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore. He is currently a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is active in the sections of Administration and Practice Management, Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and Medical Students, Residents and Fellows.

Dr. Resnick was great. Very thorough and great bedside manner. Really funny which make it fun for us to visit. My son is only 4 months old but I am sure he will really love Dr. Resnick when he is older and able to appreciate the positivity that he bring. His parents certainly do.

Not for anyone who cares about vaccine ingredients and spacing them out. Rude about the topic and was not receiving to my research and knowledge. Basically did not like that I knew facts and “Googled” stuff before our visit. I think he’d prefer parents that are aloof and do everything he says...and don’t question him.

EXCELLENT!!!! I finally found a competent pediatrician in Astoria! GREAT bed side manors, excellent with my toddler, listened to my concerns and discovered wax build up which his previous pediatrician had missed the day before along with other things.
Office staff is extremely friendly and great with children. Office is very clean and they have games for the chitin the waiting area. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

As a new patient, it took me a while to fill out the paperwork. But otherwise, the waiting area was empty, and once paperwork was complete, the doctor saw us right away.
Extremely clean, new and modern, and love the fact that he has his own private practice in the same building as the Clinic Hospital, where he has access to all of Mount Sinai facilities.
