Dr. Chow is a native to the Seattle area, growing up in the Kirkland and graduating from Juanita High School. He did his undergraduate studies at UCSD, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Chow attended Southern California College of Optometry. He did his internships at the San Diego Naval Hospital, Madigan Army Medical Center and Veterans Hospital in Bay Pines, Florida. He graduated from Southern Cal in 1995. In January of 2000 Dr. Chow entered business school and earned his MBA in June of 2002.
Dr. Chow is married and has two daughters. In his free time he enjoys playing with his kids, spending time in his recording studio and trying to hold on to his days as an avid cyclist.

Dr. Chow is exceptional in every way. He employs a courteous, professional staff. The office is bright, clean, organized and neat. After completing my new patient forms it was less than 5 minutes before I was in the exam room. Dr. Chow has such a great rapport with his patients and is extremely professional in every way. That said, he interacts with his patients in such a comfortable way as though he were a close friend rather than the highly trained doctor that he is. Takes the time to fully explain what he is doing and why. Takes the time to answer all of my questions, which I greatly appreciate. Probably the best doctor I've seen in all phases of his practice. I highly recommend Dr. Chow and his team!

Could not have been better. Well, unless there were complimentary massages in the front area. And maybe a hookah. Every person I interacted with was charming, and Dr. Chow had a fun personality that made a routine check-up fun and enjoyable.

Dr. Chow was extremely personable and friendly throughout my appointment. He made it a point to get to know me in terms of my habits and needs for eyewear. He explained the process he was going through in order to make sure I made an informed decision about next steps for my prescription, glasses and contacts. He even made sure I understood my insurance so I wouldn't be surprised by charges once I made my decisions. Overall a great optometrist! I will be glad to return for my next checkup.

Dr. Chow and his team were professional, patient, knowledgeable and just super friendly from start to finish during my first visit to their clinic. My exam was speedy yet thorough, and not only did I get all of my questions answered, but I was presented with options that didn't make it feel like I was pushed to select a product or service. I walked away with the impression that my best interests were kept in mind throughout the entire visit and I am happy to say that I plan on going back for my annual exams as well as any other eye care needs I have in the future.
