Dr. Curtis has been my personal physician for 5+ years. He takes time to understand me and my lifestyle and comes up with great ideas and coaching. As I am getting older 60+, he has identified solutions to pains and aches that have improved my overall quality of life with out using traditional pain medications. I highly recommend Dr. Curtis.

Dr. Mike Curtis was born in California and grew up in the Salt Lake area. After graduating from BYU with a zoology degree, he moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he attended the Medical College of Wisconsin, graduating in 2002. He then joined the Army and did his family practice residency training at Ft. Gordon, Georgia. He was stationed in Louisiana for a time before being deployed to Baghdad, Iraq where he served for one year as battalion surgeon to the 3-67 Armor tank battalion. Dr. Curtis moved to Utah in June 2007 and began working at Tri City Medical.
Dr. Curtis is board certified in Family Medicine. He has a special interest in hypertension and related issues. He also loves pediatrics and caring for children. He does a full range of pediatric and adult medicine.
Dr. Curtis loves living in Utah and enjoys hiking and other recreational opportunities that the surrounding area has to offer. He enjoys sports, music, and spending time with his wife and children. His faith plays an important part of his life and he enjoys being active in church.

Overall, I like going to this Doctor's office. However, I do not like how long it takes to see the doctor I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment time and checked in. I waited 20 minutes in the waiting room, then moved into an office and I was left in there for another 40 minutes. I felt the time with the doctor was simply brushed through and the Doctor used the short session to get caught up with his rotation. It was not the best experience and I had to take more time off of work than I was planning on. I hope the office can better schedule to show respect to the patients time just as much as most patients try to respect the Doctors time. It isn't cheap visiting the doctors office and it isn't enjoyable spending money to simply be pushed through.

Dr Curtis is amazing! - always is. His nurse Karen - on the other hand - while proficient - always seems to have this passive aggressive nature with condescending opinions - I guess to feel control or make the patient feel beholden. The sentiment has been echoed by more than one of Dr Curtis's patients - I really don't enjoy her.

Dr Curtis is a very kind, very thorough physician. His staff are wonderful. It's hard to find a Dr that treats you like family and Dr Curtis and Premier medical do a great job at that.

Dr. Curtis read the notes from his PA and came into the room prepared with all of the information I'd given before. His diagnosis was accurate and timely. I'm a new patient and he took some time to get to know me. He gave me options and clearly explained them.
I planned to 'look around' for a new primary care provider and never expected I'd land a winner on the first visit.

I felt like I was just another face at this appointment to the extent that he did not care to meet with me.
I had explained some difficulties with a current prescription and was told to tough it out. Dr. Curtis even asked me to remind him why he had prescribed me this particular script, which made me feel unimportant and unimpressed.
Overall, I did not feel as though he cared for my well-being in any way. I was rushed to be excused and am very saddened to have had this experience.

I was seen promptly and spent less than 5 minutes overall between checking in and seeing Dr. Curtis. Each member of the staff was kind, friendly, and very uplifting. I was able to see him and finish my visit in under 20 minutes. Dr. Curtis was very patient with any questions I had and always takes interest in what's going on in my life. I feel comfortable talking to him about anything. A++. I recommend him to anyone looking for a family or personal physician.

Perfunctory. I didn't feel like the doctor really listened, as he was dismissing my statements as I was making them. We felt rushed and unimportant. His nurse was sweet, gentle, and warm. She was inviting, attentive, and seemed to care.

I feel very unimpressed from my visit today - I felt like my concerns were not addressed. I know i may not write about how my diagnoses was incorrect or how the right bloodwork panel was NOT ordered but I can say that my VOICE was NOT heard today. I felt like I was being treated for symptoms I did not have. There were several tests after my visit that were not necessary and Dr. Curtis should have done everything in his power to keep me from doing these unnecessary tests BEFORE the problems escalated.
