As a medical professional, I'd say tops. I was a first time patient (or so I thought) but he took the time to see if it's been there before and low and behold, I was there 9 years ago. He went through my previous tests (which I never reviewed before). During my visit he was as professional as they come. Plus had a great bedside manner. I'd highly recommend.

Doctor was very professional and caring. There was a bit of delay in seeing him but that was absolutely OK since the doctor was attending another case and he treats each and every case with equal care and attention. So the wait was a non-issue. Thanks to him. Definitely would recommend this doctor anytime.

Michael R. Dourmashkin, MD has been practicing Urology since he completed his Urology Residency at the Montefiore Medical Center – Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1988. He is Board Certified in Urology and completed his Re-Certification Examination in 2005. His current hospital affiliations include North Shore University Hospital at Manhasset and Plainview, Winthrop Hospital in Mineola, and St. Joseph Hospital in Bethpage.
Dr. Dourmashkin practices all fields of Urology including Urologic Oncology, Prostate Disease, Kidney Stone Disease, Urinary Incontinence, Male Infertility, Erectile Dysfunction, and Urinary Tract Infections. He will also see children with Urologic problems.

The service I received from the time I arrived is always pleasant and with a smile. I cannot imagine how Dr. Dourmashkin's lack of consideration and indifference towards his patient's time would translate to anything other than indifference toward any other consideration regarding his patients. He seemingly looks upon his patients with the same compassion and empathy as he looks upon an ATM. My first appointment with Dr. Dourmashlin was also my last. I cannot more strongly recommend to anyone seeking the services of a urologist to look elsewhere.

I rarely ever write reviews but Dr Dourmashkin well deserves to be praised. This was my first visit and Dr Dourmashkin couldn't have been kinder or more patient. He listened, advised and showed an honest high level of caring. He wasn't recommended to me, I actually found him doing a search online. His office wasn't close to my home but after reading other reviews I thought it would be worth the trip, and it was well worth the drive for the care and service I received. I would also like to comment on the staff, of those I interacted, they were all very pleasant and helpful. All in all I clearly couldn't be happier and in this day and age where some practices make you feel like they're doing you a favor, wow what a breath of fresh air! I know this may sound over the top, but these are my honest feeling and I just want to see others enjoy the same level of service I did.
