Dr. Mike received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Chemistry from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois. He then went on to study at Life University in Marietta, Georgia, the largest Chiropractic school in the country in Marietta, Georgia and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2014.
Growing up on the baseball field, Dr. Mike has always had a passion for the game of baseball. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree, this passion led him to a job with Major League Baseball and the Toronto Blue Jays Organization. He had the opportunity to work as a Strength and Conditioning Coach in the Minor League system for three years. This was an amazing experience that allowed Dr. Mike to travel all over the country and work with professional athletes like Frank Thomas, Roy Holliday and J.P. Arencibia.
Throughout this time working in sports medicine, Dr. Mike gained further insight into the human body regarding strength conditioning and developed a great understanding of the use of biomechanics in integrating a traditional and alternative approach.
Dr. Mike has also received post graduate certifications in Functional Movement Screening, KDT Spinal Decompression, Torque Release Technique and Kinesiotaping. He is currently working towards his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist(CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
The main focus of Dr. Mike’s practice is to help patients reach their goals and treat health conditions so they can regain control of their lives. His passion allows him to provide each patient with the best care possible and develop a specialized pain relief treatment plan all while building a strong doctor-patient relationship.
Dr. Mike believes strongly in chiropractic care and its ability to non-invasively treat musculoskeletal conditions without drugs or surgery. His main objective is to get you back to doing the things you love in good health

Dr. Mike is a great, knowledgable professional. I never knew one can get chiropractic adjustments on an achy shoulder. Dr Mike did, and that immediately addressed my achy right shoulder. I really recommend him and his team at Oak Brook Medical.
