My whole life, roughly 40 years, I have never felt like any doctor took the time to actually listen to me and take my concerns seriously; however Dr. Hannigan did!! He took his time, listened to my concerns, explained everything he was thinking, and clarified what would transpire during the testing. I could tell Dr. Hannigan believes in the collaboration approach to patient Healthcare, and I believe he is the doctor to work with you, listen to your concerns, and get you on a plan to optimitize your overall health. I have always felt in order to get rid of a problem you must be able to scratch the surface and expose the root; if you cannot expose the root and chop it off, you cannot stop the problem. It seems that Dr. Hannigan approaching problems from that point of view, and I feel I have a lifetime partner in Dr. Hannigan who will work with me to expose the roots of any problems that pop up, and chop them at the root before the grow. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Hannigan. In addition ever time I have spoken with his office staff, they are so friendly and knowledgeable, and their demeanor is claming which helps when you are dealing with healt issue. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Hannigan and his staff.

It's all about control and prevention. As an endocrinologist, I specialize in controlling diabetes to help prevent negative outcomes such as neuropathy, retinopathy and kidney failure. In addition, you can also think of me as a "preventative cardiologist." I tailor a course of treatment specifically to you that can reverse and prevent the causes of cardiac events such as heart attack and stroke. Of course, I'm happy to handle all other endocrine issues as well such as thyroid control, hormone therapy, and more.
I am currently out of network for all private insurance and am accepting cash/credit card pay patients. However, my staff will provide a completed HCFA 1500 claim form after each visit to help patients pursue personal reimbursement from their insurance. The only two exceptions to insurance acceptance are that I DO accept Traditional Medicare and am a member of the VA Community Care Network.
PER-APPOINTMENT PRICING IS AS FOLLOWS:
New Patient Appointment: $460
Follow-Up Appointment: $230
ANNUAL CONTRACT PAYMENT PLAN ALSO AVAILABLE:
$115/mo. for 12 months. This includes 1 New Patient Appointment and unlimited Follow-Up Appointments for endocrine-related issues.
I am Board Certified in Internal Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), and a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology (FACE) with special interests in all forms of diabetes, but especially insulin pumps, severe insulin resistance and Lipodystrophy. Also Familial Hypercholesterolemia and high Lp(a) with early onset cardiovascular or renal complications, and sex hormone management including transgender care. Other areas include adrenal, and pituitary issues.
Being licensed to practice medicine in 4 states (Alabama, Alaska, Florida & Texas), I'm happy to provide complete endocrine care via tele-health visits when in-office visits aren't a viable option. I strive to provide the best quality care to my patients, and I look forward to meeting each one of you.
