Michael Horner is an experienced and knowledgeable physiatrist serving his patients in the Golden, Littleton, and Westminster areas of Colorado. Dr. Horner is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and the International Spine Intervention Society.
Dr. Horner received his medical education from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his internship with the Michigan State University with the Ingham Regional Medical Center, for which he was named chief intern. Dr. Horner moved on to complete his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency through Michigan State’s program with the Sparrow Hospital, and he was named chief resident in his final year. He then completed two separate fellowships at the same hospital through the same institution: Electrodiagnostic medicine and interventional pain management. In 2012, Dr. Horner completed his clinical preceptorship in interventional ultrasounds in Napa, CA.
