Michael Johnson is a skilled and qualified orthopedic surgeon caring for the Vancouver, WA community. Dr. Johnson obtained his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. He completed his bachelor’s at Stanford University. He also completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. He attended Brown University for his fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery and Harvard University for his fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery.
Dr. Johnson is a part of the Vancouver Clinic – Sports Medicine. Patient interaction is of great importance to him, and he works to create customized care plans for each of his patients. When he is not in his office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two young boys. He can also be found playing basketball in the park, riding a horse, bike, and stand-up paddleboard. He grew up on a family farm in rural North Dakota, and loves being outdoors.
Dr. Johnson believes in listening to each patient and creating a partnership to maintain and improve lifelong health. He is deeply committed to the well-being of his patients. He takes a thorough and precise approach to his consultations to ensure that he is consistently giving accurate diagnoses.
