Michael L. Mangonon, D.O. is a fellowship trained hand surgeon who specializes in the treatment of acute and chronic conditions of the hand, wrist, and elbow. This includes fractures, tendon/ligament/nerve/vascular injuries, nerve compression, arthritis, and congenital anomalies. He is a native New Yorker raised on Staten Island. He completed his undergraduate studies at The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. His medical degree was obtained from Nova Southeastern University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale. He returned to New York to complete a residency in general surgery at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn. He then completed a hand surgery fellowship at The University at Buffalo.
