“Dr. Michael Horowitz is highly experienced. As a matter of fact, he is the most knowledgeable and skilled specialist from all hand surgeons, whom I had met before. He was the only one, who knew how to make injection in a right direction, when I addressed him with De Quervain's tenosynovitis, so the pain subsided quickly after it. He helped me with the sprained fingers too. What I also like about him is that he is an honest professional, so he wouldn't do the injection, if he doesn't find it necessary. He is a true doctor. ”

“Dr. Horowitz was amazing! He has such a warm bedside manner. Listened to my concerns, and really heard what I was saying. He sent me for a follow up MRI which confirmed what he thought my diagnosis was. I had been to 4 other doctors before him - including another hand surgeon and no one else was able to diagnose the issue. He was clear in all of his explanations as well as procedure and post op instructions. Highly highly recommend!”

I would recommend this Office and Dr. Horowitz always.

Dr. Horowitz was fine. However his staff is u professional and extremely rude. Will never go back because of that.
Dr. Horowitz was very pleasant and spent a good deal of time with me. He seemed very thorough in his examination.
Not sure why he would get a bad review. Good bedside manner and very professional. Very little wait time.

Very nice and very professional. A great doctor.
This was a folllow up visit after Dr. Horowitz performed my "trigger finger" surgery. Dr. Horowitz is an amazing, knowledgable, and caring Doctor. He's performed 3 surgeries on me and so far I've had amazing results. I would and have already referred friends to him. Highly Recommended!

Doctor's appointment was fine, but the office was not in network yet it still came up in my Zocdoc search results. I didn't find out until months later when I got a bill. Writing this review for people to make sure to cross check with their insurance company to make sure that the doctor is in network BEFORE going through with their appointments.
Verified patient
Avoid at all cost!! You will be grateful, their office and billing departments, as well as office staff are horrible to deal with, they do not know how to properly file insurance claims.

Hurt my wrist. Saw him twice and had x-ray done but nothing was visibly wrong on x-ray. I suggested that it felt like I had torn or sprained a tendon and perhaps an MRI might be in order. Dr. said there was nothing wrong and suggested some physical therapy instead. Things got worse and 2 years later I need surgery and it appears the tendon is torn all the way through. Recuperation would have been easier/possible if this was diagnosed immediately. now the long term damage is done.

I chose to see Dr. Horowitz because he had good reviews and I had good expectations for my appointment. My first visit was okay, he examined my hand without any comments and just recommended for me to have injections for my wrist pain. However, when I received the report, I noticed that it was very contradictory and confusing. I made another appointment to have him explain and clarify the statements that did not make sense to me as they did not apply to my wrist movement, but to my forearm. Mr. Horowitz was extremely offended that I had questions (apparently patients are not supposed to have questions) and was unable to answer any of them. He was extremely aggressive and his behavior was very inappropriate. He got so flustered after not being able to answer any questions that he just dismissed me and asked me to leave. This has NEVER happened to me in any doctor's office. What kind of doctor can't answer what his own report means? I am warning anyone who tries to see him because according to my experience he is not able to manage himself and is extremely unprepared to answer any questions.

For my first I me visit all went well

Dr Horowitz did a wonderful job setting and guiding me through the process of healing my broken finger. There were a couple of times i had a VERY long wait once taken back to the examining room, but I think in both cases he had extenuating circumstances which started that. I'd highly recommend him to anyone
Dr. Horowitz did hand surgery for me previously. This surgery has solved the problems I was having. For this problem he is acting conservatively. Whereas an x-ray did not show anything this time, Dr. Horowitz has asked me to keep a record of antecedents to the swelling and pain in my finger and will be following up within the month.

Dr. Horowitz is an undeniably spectacular surgeon, as well as an efficient and direct communicator. He thoroughly evaluated, ordered appropriate tests, interpreted results, established a treatment plan, executed the surgery, and ensured exceptional post-op care with admirable efficiency, knowledge, expertise, and precision while always being a consummate gentleman.
Had a tendenitis. Dr. recommend steroid injection and I kept asked if I need brace to hold but he said unnecessary. After the appointment, I realized steroid injection helped me instantly but wasn't a good recommendation not stabilizing my wrist with brace even I had a pain killer injection steroid to reduce inflammation. So I had to get a wrist stabilizer brace myself. I think Dr's idea was to make patient to continuation of problem instead of prevention and healing. No recommendation of any mobility neither.
Apparently there was a miscommunication between ZocDoc and the doctor's office, so that is why the wait was a bit long. Dr. Horowitz was really nice and professional. I would recommend him.
It was very pleasant. Everyone, from the recepcionist to the Dr. Michael Horowitz, was very friendly and pleasant. He satisfied my expectation and explained very thoroughly what my problem was. I highly recommend him.

Wow. Just wow. Let me try to explain. He went above and beyond the call of duty. He took time explaining everything to me in a way that was easy to understand. He listened without interrupting me (a rare skill for many doctors I've met). He shared all possible options, made his opinion known without making me feel rushed/forced into making a decision. I'll be getting surgery for my hand and I've never felt so confident and calm about going to a doctor.

Dr. Horowitz treated my son gently and alleviated any fear he may have had. He was thorough in his examination and explained everything as he went along. I would definitely recommend the practice as well in general. I have also seen Dr. Lewin who has excellent bedside manner as well and explains everything thoroughly. The office staff is also beyond nice to deal with and very helpful.

The doctor was very thorough. He explained everything to me in layman's terms. I could easily understand the cause of my particular concern and my options. Dr. Horowitz did not make me feel rushed. He took his time and made me feel like I was his only patient of the day.
