Michael R. Menachof, M.D., F.A.C.S., is an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor (ENT) in the Denver area. A native of Santa Rosa, California, Dr. Menachof grew up in the wine-rich Sonoma Valley. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley with honors. He received his medical degree from the University of California at San Francisco, consistently ranked as one of the top ten medical schools in the country. Dr. Menachof graduated with honors in the top five percent of his class and was awarded placement in the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
Following medical school, Dr. Menachof remained in the Bay Area to pursue his training in Head and Neck Surgery. After a general surgery internship lasting one year, he chose to focus his remaining surgical training on the study of the head, neck and face. Upon completion of six years of internship and residency Dr. Menachof received his board certification in General Ear, Nose & Throat, Pediatric Ear Nose & Throat, Head and Neck Surgery, Hearing and Balance Disorders, and Facial Plastic Surgery by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
Dr. Menachof began private practice in northern Virginia, just on the outskirts of Washington D.C. Although the hustle and bustle of a thriving practice in a very exciting city certainly had many benefits, the sacrifices to family life were also great. In 1991, Dr. Menachof, his wife and four children moved to Colorado where they have resided ever since.
Soon after moving to Denver, Dr. Menachof recognized the special difficulties inherent in practicing a mile above sea level. He pursued a prolonged course of extra training and was accepted as a fellow to the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.

They are very professional, their whole staff has it well together. I went for allergies and sinus problems. By the time I left I knew I was in the right place. I'm excitted to face the future without all my sinus problems. Thanks to Dr. Menachof & his staff for helping me sinus.

I had a very good visit with Dr. Menachof. He listened carefully to my concerns regarding surgery and he gave me other options that we could try first. I felt like he genuinely cared about me as a person. The office staff was also very polite and professional as well. I will return!
