Michael W. Moore, III, MD, will join Rosewood ENT on August 1, 2016. Dr. Moore earned his BS with Summa Cum Laude honors from Boston College, where he was co-captain of the men’s swim team. He completed his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical School - Houston and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. During medical school he performed research on minimally invasive head and neck surgery at the MD Anderson Cancer Center and was awarded the Eugene G. Jacobson Award in physiology. Dr. Moore completed his internship and residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. At MUSC, he was awarded the Otolaryngology Outstanding Resident Research award for research on hearing loss as well as the Head & Neck Cancer Resident of the Year award. He consistently scored amongst the top residents in the country on the annual Otolaryngology training exam. Dr. Moore’s practice encompasses all areas of general Otolaryngology, including pediatric ear, nose, and throat. His clinical interests include nasal allergy and sinus disorders, head and neck surgery, including thyroid and parathyroid surgery, hearing loss and ear disorders, and management of sleep apnea/snoring.
