Dr. Michael R. Murchland is a triple board-certified dermatologist with expertise in dermatology, dermatopathology, and Mohs micrographic surgery. A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy and Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, he trained at Wilford Hall Medical Center and completed a dermatopathology fellowship at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology.
During his 25-year Air Force career, Dr. Murchland served in leadership roles including Chief of Dermatology Services for the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium. Since retiring from active duty, he has cared for patients in both private practice and academic settings.
At Forefront Dermatology, Dr. Murchland provides advanced, compassionate care in surgical dermatology and skin cancer treatment. He is cosmetically astute in his skin repairs.
Outside of work, he enjoys boating, RV travel, and time with his family and dogs, Olive and Moose.
