I specialize in treatment and services for children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 6-18). I am interested in assessing both the patient and family dynamics to create a holistic and behavioral approach to Psychiatry. Treatment modalities include medication management, partnering with therapists and schools, and building stronger families. In addition, I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and young adults with Developmental Disorders, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Asperger’s, and LGBTQ+ related issues. I am an avid science fiction aficionado, Star Trek enthusiast, and friend to animals.
I will be working closely with you and your family throughout your journey. Often, dealing with mental health issues involves addressing family dynamics, home and school environments, traumas, family histories, and coping mechanisms. We'll navigate whether medication is the best route for what you're going through and coordinate care along the way.
I focus on understanding the ‘Mind-Body-Spirit’ connection and how these interconnected concepts can present. By choosing me as your Psychiatrist, you will have someone who will work hard to understand all the issues and concerns you have and will develop a comprehensive plan to help you along your journey.
