Dr. Michael Rontal grew up in Detroit, Michigan and graduated Cooley High School in 1958. He then attended the University of Michigan, completing medical school in 1965. Dr. Michael Rontal has practiced Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) medicine (Otolaryngology) since completing his residency at Washington University in St. Louis in 1970. After residency Dr. Rontal entered the United States Army and was assigned to William Beaumont Hospital, Fort Bliss, Texas. He spent 2 years there as the chief of Otolaryngology, and he attained the rank of Major.
Clinically, Dr. Rontal treats the full spectrum of otolaryngology patients including both pediatrics and adults. His particular interests include both disease of voice as well as those of the nose and sinuses.
