Dr. Schwartz joined Ear, Nose and Throat Associates of South Florida in August, 2006 after being in private practice since 1986. Dr. Schwartz received his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in 1981. He completed his two years of general surgery training at the Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, followed by his residency in facial plastic surgery and otolaryngology at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University, also located in New York City. During both his education and training, Dr. Schwartz received direct instruction from some of the foremost surgeons of the twentieth century, including Drs. Michael DeBakey and John Conley (the founder of modern facial plastic and head and neck surgery).
Dr. Schwartz is double Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and the America Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Schwartz is a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
