I'm new to Zocdoc so i wasn't sure how to use the app. When i i booked my appointment i unknowingly didn't confirm so when i got to hospital i had no appointment in the system. Dr. Sirota not only did he fit me in that day but he made me feel really comfortable and i was out in no time with all the info i needed. Very nice doctor and i would highly recommend scheduling a visit.

More about Dr. Michael Sirota, MD
Dr. Sirota grew up in Brookline, Massachusetts, just outside Boston. He attended Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, graduating cum laude and receiving high honors from the chemistry department for his senior thesis on protein synthesis. During his four years in the New Hampshire mountains he also developed a love of skiing, as well as high hopes of one day becoming good at it.
Dr. Sirota continued his education at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, once again graduating with honors. He then moved to Baltimore, Maryland, entering the orthopedic surgery residency program at Union Memorial Hospital, a leading regional orthopedic referral center and the highest volume hospital in Maryland in hip replacement and knee replacement. As part of his residency training Dr. Sirota also spent time at the Johns Hopkins Hospital learning pediatric orthopedics, as well as at the renowned R. Adams Cowley Shock/Trauma Center at the University of Maryland, where he studied complex orthopedic trauma and reconstruction. In addition, he also served as a Medical Officer at the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA), where he lent clinical expertise to the evaluation of new orthopedic implants and technologies.
After completing residency Dr. Sirota undertook an additional year of fellowship training in orthopedic sports medicine at The Pennsylvania State University, where he had the great privilege of helping provide sideline coverage to Penn State’s numerous Division I sports teams, including their football team, the Nittany Lions. During this year Dr. Sirota trained in advanced arthroscopic techniques for the treatment of shoulder, hip and knee injuries, including anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, rotator cuff repair and shoulder stabilization.

Dr. Sirota's office was clean, organized and highly efficient. The staff was courteous, welcoming and very professional. This was my first visit to Dr. Sirota. I liked his approach to my problem. Some surgeons automatically want to go to surgery. Dr. Sirota wanted to test a non intrusive method first and then see if this could be avoided. I have a lot of faith and confidence in his abilities.

I got a knee injury while in San Diego & needed to be seen by an orthopedic surgeon before driving back to Yuma. Dr Sirota & his staff were top notch. Dr Sirota was very pleasant, thoroughal & professional. His staff was also very nice. They continued to provide us updates on how much longer it would be before the doctor could see us & was sure we had any information we needed before leaving their office to go get an MRI.
