When you need fast medical treatment, urgent care may be the right choice. At AFC/Doctors Express, our state-of-the-art urgent care center, we can treat a variety of conditions that need immediate attention.
For your convenience, no appointments are necessary, simply walk-in. With minimal wait times, you can expect to be seen by our highly trained staff soon after you arrive. Whether you suspect you have broken a bone or are suffering from a bug bite, we are here for you. Our office uses the latest technology including electronic medical recording and is stocked with modern equipment that allows us to perform diagnostic tests in our onsite lab and digital x-rays. Our physicians can also write prescriptions and refer you to a specialist when necessary.
Dr. Michael Tugetman is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Prior to Doctors Express, he was in private practice directing all aspects of family practice care - pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric and women’s health. He is a federally registered Civil Surgeon authorized to perform immigration physicals, a certified Medical Examiner for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, as well as an authorized Yellow Fever vaccine provider. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Queens College, CUNY and his Medical Doctorate from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C.

In most cases, a visit to our office is less expensive than a trip to the emergency room, and it is often faster than waiting for an appointment with your regular doctor.

I am new to the area and haven't found a PCP yet. I went in for a sore throat/cough. I could barely talk. I had started to take some antibiotics a day earlier but realized I needed to see a doctor. I told the Dr. just that She scolded me for treating myself and made me feel worse. She looked in my throat and that was it. She gave me a prescription for a different antibiotic and sent me on my way. It was less than 5 min. with the doctor. I would not recommend this place.

The MA couldn't take my BP even with the instrument. He made me cry when he did a flu swab. I actually pushed him away and he still forced the swab more into my nose. Honestly new MA other than that Dr was very professional office was kind.

Such a waste of time! The wait is hours. It took them forever to register you. At the end, they told you this is only urgent care, however, on ZocDoc never mention a word about urgent care. The front desk is rude and didn't even apologize for the miscommunication. It only says primary care doctor on ZocDoc. They should be more honest about their advertising on ZocDoc. We wasted 3 hours there and still need to find another primary care doctor again....

For my first time visiting any urgent care center, I am very pleased. I appreciated that I could complete all registration paperwork online before I arrived. I was called in within 10 minutes but did have to wait another 15-20 minutes until evaluated by the MD. He was professional, articulate and thorough in his assessment of my symptoms. I was out of the urgent care center within an hour and my rx was sent to the pharmacy immediately.

This center is a very convenient way to see a doctor without the week or so wait that usually accompanies booking an appointment. The staff was very professional, and the doctor patiently and completely answered my questions. As a bonus, I was out the door in under 40 minutes!

Went well. He listened to my problems, made a diagnosis and some suggestions and told me to call in a couple of days if my symptoms didn't go away by that time. I was very pleased with him
and will be even more pleased if my symptoms go away in the next
couple of days as he thought they would. Staff was thorough
