Good patient relationship and competent in his field. The Receptionist is also warmth and very cordial and is an expert in her expertise too in drawing blood for my lab works.

I really liked the visit to Dr. Yu. He was about 10 minutes late to enter the room. I realize why. He was thorough with his questioning. He did not blitz through the appointment like many doctors have done.

He's awesome! Very caring, nice, and friendly doctor.
Verified patient
Not very helpful. I have several chronic kidney stones in both kidneys and visited him a total of 3 times with no progress whatsoever. All he managed to do in 3 visits was take urine and blood samples (which told him nothing he needed to know) and send me somewhere for imaging to confirm the stones sizes and whatnot. I had a follow-up appointment which he actually cancelled two days before the appointment because he was out of town. I was notified by the receptionist and tried to reschedule and she said "oh, sorry, he's actually booked for the next two months". At that point I was done. He also said what I was doing for my migraines (acetaminophen and caffeine) was good practice for the constant severe kidney pain....caffeine. That was his advice, which is both harmful AND ineffective.

Terrible. Looking for new doctor

I have been waiting for more than half an hour to see the Doctor and we just talk for three minutes. He promised to make another appointment for me with another doctor but never let me know if he did it or not. I called several times for the confirmation but turns out he never make the appointment for me. I am trying to be patient to ask several times but their unprofessional attitude makes me angry. I would try other doctors next time

I did not know I would be receiving an unexpected lab bill. I should have been told when setting the appt. that I would receive or should expect a lab bill. Every doctors office and hospital operated differently and they need to be more transparent. The doctor was really nice but their were others that day from the office lurking around being nosy and acting suspicious when I was speaking with the doctor (it wasn't patients or visitors). I would have preferred a warm welcome by the office staff when entering, genuinely warm treatment while present and when leaving. It wasn't really clear what lab tests were being done and it was a lot of suspicious like attitudes occurring. I admire and respect, honest and open businesses that establishes trust with a client. However, sneaky and suspicious activity makes and business appear questionable and very unprofessional. It was confusing the way the location was set up. I was running around the parking garage trying to find the location and I was late but I was accommodated. Honestly, I feel like I was taken for my money. I did not get anything accomplished that day but a loss of capital and time. It was like he knew something but was not telling me, what is the point in going to the doctor if they know something but don't help. There was a lot of low talking and whispering between the front desk worker and medical staff weird non-verbal communication between them and another lurking medical staff member. I don't know anyone who would like this type of treatment.
I booked an appointment off the terms and services that were supposed to b provided... The website needs to be updated seeming i needed an OB/GYN check up... And i was informed that the sonogram person no longer for wk there

Dr. Yu is very down to earth as well as professional at the same time, a great combination for a doctor. He is concerned with the patient's needs as well as him being very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him to others.
Verified patient
Typically when I go to the doctor, I know exactly why I'm there. I get chronic sinus infections. Usually doctors at least check me. However Dr. Yu came in, spoke with me for about 30 seconds to a minute and asked me what antibiotics I wanted. While this was perfect for why I was there, I don't know if I would suggest him if you actually wanted to get checked out.
I visited Dr. Yu's office a month ago and was told that he would send my prescription to the pharmacy and give me a call to let me know where I needed to pick it up at...I never received a call and have called his office almost every day since trying to find out what is going on and where my prescription is but the only answer I get is from the receptionist saying that Dr. Yu said that he would give me a call. I have never had such a ridiculously hard time getting a prescription filled in my life.

I really enjoyed my visit.except for the fact that the elevator was not working. The wait time was also a little long, but otherwise it was very good
Verified patient
My visit with Dr. Yu was one of the best I've had. There was no rush to get to the next patient, he explained all systoms in plain English...and I will defiantly see him again.

Awesome doctor.

Finally found a doctor who accepted my insurance and made an appointment to see him only to have it rescheduled four times between Saturday and Monday and then wait over an hour for my set appointment. When I called my insurance to add him as my doctor I was told that he was not approved because his paperwork was not complete. I called his office multiple times a day for the remainder of the week and then confirmed my Saturday appointment 2x on Friday only to be told that he has not updated the paperwork and I needed to pay out of pocket for my appointment. Very unprofessional
