Studying at Oregon College of Oriental Medicine resulted in her degree: A Masters of Chinese Medicine. Learning at OCOM consists of a rigorous schedule of several modalities including: Acupuncture Studies (theory and needling), Qi Gong (movement therapy), Tuina (Chinese massage techniques), and Herbal Therapy (the use of many substances to assist the body’s healing and balancing). She continues to study various skills and prefers gentle needling approaches such as those offered by Japanese needling. She has over 110 seminar hours in the Kiiko Matsumoto style of acupuncture; a compassionate way of treating the body.
Her areas of focus include fire cupping, tuina stretching, Japanese needling, and a solid foundation of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine). She loves helping people heal their body through healthy life choices and the support of alternative medicine.
She has her license through the Oregon Medical Board and is nationally certified through the NCCAOM. She accepts most insurances that cover acupuncture.
Born and raised in Oregon, she loves what the PNW has to offer: the beautiful coastline, the majestic mountains, the expansive desert, the stunning lakes, such as Crater Lake, and the cozy Willamette Valley where she spent her childhood.
