I had been to doctor Sasson three times but I just felt like it a case of trying to get you in and out of the office as quick as possible. And the answer was always try tablets for another 2 weeks and another 2 weeks yet I was still having issues.

Dr. Sasson was very good about listening and responding to my questions with patience and care. However, she felt that she couldn't do anything to diagnose me without a colonoscopy (dangerous, involves general anesthesia). When I suggested a change of diet she seemed to feel it was a waste of time, but allowed me to try a diet (FODMAP) I had read about and she was aware of, though she had no instructions or even guidelines for the diet, so I googled it. The diet worked well, so I canceled my follow up with Dr. Sasson. Personally, I prefer to try natural methods before undergoing surgical procedures, or new medications, so I've sought out a new Gastroenterologist who takes that approach.

Front desk staff was friendly and guided me through the information needed for my first appointment. Was taken in right at my scheduled time and the doctor came in within minutes. Very friendly and courteous. Listened to my concerns and asked questions to help develop a prognosis. The appointment was quick and efficient and I will definitely go back!

After explaining why I was there, etc., she stated that she thought it best if I got a doctor in MY location! I never realized geography mattered to doctors and was quite stunned. Due to the fact that I was feeling so lousy did I not respond in my normal inquisitive manner. Again I was totally stunned. She did give me a 30 day prescription in the interim until I could locate a doctor in MY AREA!!!!!!!! Seriously.
