She completed her residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital, where she was awarded the Chief Resident Laparoscopy award and became a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. She has served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at NYU and an Assistant Professor at The George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Tham Metz is a published author with interest in polycystic ovarian syndrome and minimally invasive gynecologic procedures. Her love for obstetrics leaves her open to many different birthing options and she is an advocate for a more holistic approach to childbirth and global maternal-child healthcare access.
Dr. Tham Metz is interested in building long lasting relationships with her patients and hopes to foster clear communication and trust. Dr Metz helped us so much throughout my pregnancy and was great delivering my daughter. She’s calm and had us laughing each visit which was welcomed with a difficult pregnancy. I’m so sad that the practice no longer takes my insurance, it will be hard to find another doctor that compares!

This doctor was just concerned in making the appointment as fast as possible and would not take my preference and history into account on what birth control to use. I had to call the office three times to get them to send the correct dosage and brand to CVS. Would not recommend or go again.
