Facing major surgery can be terrifying and I am forever thankful that Dr. Seagren got to know me as a person and treated me as a whole. I felt at ease throughout this process with her knowledge and reassurance in my decisions. I also feel just as beautiful as I did before, a very pleasant surprise!

Dr. Seagren has been my surgeon since 2016, shortly after I was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is an excellent surgeon and extremely knowlegable in breast cancer and treatment. She is very compassionate and really cares about her patients. She gave me her cell phone number at my first appointment and said call or text any time - who else does that? I love everything about her and appreciate all she has done for me and been there for me and been there for me during my breast cancer journey, which has been anything but typical. I highly recommend Dr. Seagren!

Dr. Seagren is a board certified general surgeon with sub-specialty fellowship training in breast surgical oncology and breast reconstruction. Having completed her fellowship at the University of California San Francisco, Dr. Seagren's practice philosophy has been shaped by the surgical innovations and medical breakthroughs of this world-renowned breast cancer center.
As a breast surgeon, she is often the first physician a woman will meet when faced with a new diagnosis of breast cancer or after discovering that her family has a deleterious gene mutation that significantly increases her risk for breast cancer (e.g. BRCA, CHEK2, PALB2).
We understand that the patient experience can be difficult at times, especially when faced with a diagnosis of breast cancer. Women are often faced with numerous choices and volumes of information. We believe the doctor-patient relationship is key to helping women navigate this sometimes overwhelming experience. We approach every woman with compassion and strive to always provide clear information. We encourage open communication and try to create an environment that allows women to be an active participant in her medical and surgical decision making.
Dr. Seagren will guide you through this process and will help manage your treatment with additional physicians. When I first met Mikki Seagren, DO I thought she was very helpful and professional. I was nervous and she was very attentive and put me at ease. From my first visit thru the weeks that followed, she kept me informed and was excellent in everything that she did for me. My visit & surgery went so well, would recommend her to my friends & family.
