Juno Medical was a different experience. The clinic was beautiful and high tech. I waited for maybe 20 minutes and there was no paper work. Dr. Rodriguez Alvarez was great and I felt like all my needs were met. She took the time to send me links and information via the patient portal.

My career began in Cuba where I specialized in Allergy & Immunology and, after moving to the United States, I expanded my clinical practice to include both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. As a Cuban immigrant living in New York, I'm dedicated to providing the highest quality care to patients from all cultural backgrounds. My primary goal is to provide people with effective tools to improve their overall health and I see my clinical work as the source of inspiration for my research.

First, Juno is a lovely facility. Its like if CityMD was a primary provider. Intake/registration couldn't be simpler, the lobby was very clean and inviting. I was seen right away and my doctor saw me within 5 minutes. Dr. Rodriguez-Alvarez was amazingly thorough - she seemed to truly care about and understand my (minor) concerns and gave me some things I can try at home. She took her time and never rushed me in anyway. This was a great experience, I would love for Juno to be my PCP!

I love love Dr. Alvarez. She is the only doctor I would go to. She takes her time and listens to me. The office staff is amazing as well. Everyone is very friendly. I never have to wait when I have an appointment and when I needed same day care they were able to accommodate me as well. Dr. Alvarez is very knowledgeable and you can tell that she is passionate and really cares. She was able to diagnose me and build a plan on how to better myself.

Dr. Rodríguez-Álvarez is one of the best doctors I have seen in a long long time. She was really compassionate, down to earth and a great listener. I also really appreciated that she took the time to ask about mental wellness in addition to physical wellness. She also discussed non medical / pharmaceutical options, which makes her very modern and approachable.

Dr. Melina Rodriguez Alvarez is a wonderful and kind soul. I am so happy I went to see her. Also Juno Health is an incredibly warm and fun space to be in- it felt nothing like a doctor’s office because of how fun the vibe felt. Best doctor visit I’ve ever been to!

Dr.Milena was amazing, she made me feel comfortable. She listened to my concerns and asked very good questions to understand my medical history. I felt that my concerns were valid and heard. The office is very clean and organized. Two things that should improve is the front desk should be able to provide guidance to patient when checking in. Nurse had to interject and provide me instructions on how to check in. It seems like the front desk staff was being trained. The nurse staff was amazing as well, very nice and knowledgeable.
Another thing that should improve is labels, they should have a label printer, i was concerned my specimen samples might get lost or confused being that the labels are hand written. I had to write my own name and DOB. Overall, i highly recommend this facility and Dr.Milena. I left the office feeling that i was very well taken care of. I will certainly continue to receive care from this provider and facility.

Such a friendly staff and overall great experience! I was really nervous at first but the doctor was super nice and helped make me feel comfortable and calm. She even taught me a new breathing exercise to try and did it with me in the office. Highly highly recommend!

Dr. Rodriguez-Alvarez is spectacular. Intuitive, knowledgeable, thorough, compassionate and respectful. One of the rare doctors I've dealt with who genuinely paid attention to my needs, took my pain management seriously, and created a relaxed environment where all of my questions were answered.

When I eventually saw Dr. Alvarez, she was great -- kind and clear and thorough. However, be aware that the office has a policy about lateness -- I was ten minutes late to my appointment (thanks to rogue subway trains), and was told I could not be seen, which made my trip to Harlem in vain. Supposedly, they usually send a text message to inform about the policy, but I did not receive one. Luckily, I was able to reschedule for the next day, and I made sure to show up early. I waited for a little while -- they didn't call my name until 10-15 minutes after my appointment time, which I found slightly annoying given the strict lateness policy they enforce for patients. However, the doctor herself was lovely, and now that I'm aware of the policy, hopefully future visits will go more smoothly. I would definitely go back!

REALLY great experience at this practice. Dr. Alvarez was amazing - she had such a clear communication style and felt very thorough in my annual physical, really addressing all my concerns from toe to tip. I often feel that a doctor rushes through the appointment to get to the next patient, but she sat with me for over 20 minutes and explained everything she was doing and why it was important. I left feeling like she valued the time we spent together, and I really appreciated her genuine nature!
The office itself was beautiful, clean, not too crowded. I waited about 15 minutes to be called in for my appointment. Would absolutely return here for care.
