Finally, we found our perfect infertility doctor! She was extremely thorough with our medical history. From there, she created a plan for us on a calendar. It was great to walk out with a goal and optimism. She was also very considerate and compassionate. She handed us off to the scheduling person and knelt down by our table to ask if we had any other questions. The front office lady at the Gilbert office was very friendly too. After she made a copy of my drivers license and insurance, she got up and walked into the waiting room to hand deliver my things back to me. Truly the best experience I could have asked for!

She was the second Fertility Specialist that my husband and I visited and we were pleasantly surprised! She was very kind and sincere. Dr. Behera took the time to explain the entire process, answered all of our questions and went above an beyond to make us feel comfortable with the process. Beyond the bright smile and warm demeanor, you’ll find a highly skilled and extremely competent physician. Dr. Behera is board certified in both OB/GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology and Fertility. Prior to coming to the Valley, she was Assistant Professor at Duke University (ranked the 4th best Gynecology department in the US at the time) and Clinical Director of the Center for Fibroid Biology and Therapy.
Dr. Behera established herself as a leader in her field with a number of published research papers and international presentations on in-vitro fertilization, non-invasive treatment of fibroids, fertility preservation therapies, and advanced robotic surgery. She maintains her academic interests by teaching, conducting clinical research, and instructing Reproductive Medicine and Minimally Invasive Surgery courses and training programs across the country. She is currently adjunct faculty at both, Duke University and the University of Arizona.
Dr. Behera has hosted and made regular appearances on national television programs, including “Dr. Oz” and “The Doctors”, explaining the latest and most effective advances in the treatment of infertility, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, PCOS, and recurrent miscarriage. Locally, she was named a Phoenix Magazine Top Doc for 2014, and has been extensively featured on local news and medical information television shows.
Dr. Behera is the first reproductive surgeon to perform robotic tubal reversal surgery in the Phoenix area. She is an exceptional surgeon, and is part of the Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Surgery at Scottsdale Healthcare.
Despite her credentials, Dr. Behera maintains her personable and compassionate demeanor through her dedicated patient care.

Dr. Behera's office was so welcoming and kind, and was really good at explaining everything to me in full. Dr. Behera was very thorough, informative, and was just very lovely to speak to in general. Dr. Behera was so great! She took the time to sit down and really get to know me and know my back story. I felt she really wanted to solve any issues I had instead of just putting a bandaid on them. I would encourage anyone looking for a fertility specialist to go see Dr. Behera!

Professional and truly genuine is Dr. Behera. She believes in coming up with a plan which is the starting point. From there, options are given as needed. I am so glad I saw her and would highly recommend her. Dr, Behera and staff know the science, but also care about the patients. The aura in the office is positive and loving. Infertility is not something that is easy to discuss, but the dr and staff are encouraging and hopeful which helps us to stay positive during a trying time.

Dr. Behera creates miracles every day and there are no words to say thank you for our little miracle, our son, Evan. She is the most beautiful, amazing, compassionate, patient, talented Dr. with the most amazing team. My husband and I have been through a lot over the course of 4-5 years and when we met Dr. Behera we instantly know we were in the right place. I refer everyone I come across trying to start their family to her. They truly love our son, they know their patients best interest in heart. How do you say thank you in so little words. We are currently seeing her for our second child. What an amazing experience.
