It is a huge step to make the decision to see a psychiatrist. I focus my work in being supportive and understanding and at the same time being a very thorough professional. I have many years of experience helping clients adjust to new life situations. Taking the necessary time to listen to my clients helps me make the best evaluation and together we come up with a treatment plan. I can prescribe medications when recommended and provide psychotherapy when needed. When working with children and adolescents I consider it is extremely important to have an open channel of communications with their parents and other caregivers. I am an out of network provider. I will ,however, provide clients all paperwork necessary to apply for insurance reimbursement. I offer services in Portuguese and Spanish as well as English. I have offices in Manhattan and Red Bank NJ.
My experience includes 15 years practicing and teaching in Brazil before moving to NYC to begin my USA certification
