Dr. Mitchell Fraiman graduated in 1995 from a seven year, accelerated medical program at Boston University/UMDNJ New Jersey Medical School. He graduated with honors from his undergraduate university and was later inducted into the national medical honor society ” Alpha Omega Alpha ” during his medical school studies. Upon graduation he completed his general surgery and urology training at New York University Medical Center, working under Chairman Dr. Herbert Lepor. During his time at NYU, Dr. Fraiman was published in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters and presented at various urology meetings.
Since completing his post-graduate training, Dr. Fraiman has practiced urology in Rockland County, NY with Rockland Urology. He treats all urologic conditions including: prostate cancer, bladder cancer, kidney cancer, stone disease, BPH, incontinence, erectile dysfunction. He performs minimally invasive therapies for stone disease, kidney cancer, benign prostatic hypertrophy (laser, radiofrequency therapy, etc.)
Dr. Fraiman is currently an attending physician at Nyack Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital (Suffern, NY). He is a clinical assistant professor at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Manhattan. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology and an active member of the American Urological Association.
Dr. Fraiman lives with his wife Nicole and their four sons.
